Devery Handerson and Dwayne Bowe come to mind for me. Though contracts would be an issue |
Henderson would be interesting. He could be the deep guy that we need.
Bowe? His contract will be a problem when he has to get resigned next year. |

Realistically, I don't see anyone worth going after. I'd rather just wait until the draft. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. And then, you just have to pick the sin you can live with." -Ig Perrish |

Yeah, I see a lot of WRs that I am interest into in this upcoming draft, including:
Justin Hunter
Keenan Allen
Terrance Williams
Tavares King
Marquess Wilson
And thats just receivers I would look at in the first round. |

Awesome, we need him. I doubt that he will be ready for a little while though. |

King is probably gonna be a mid to late round pick. One sleeper I have is Quinton Patton of La. Tech. This kid is climbing the draft boards. Right now, I have him as a 3rd rounder, but he could go higher if he continues to progress. Don't forget about Cobi Hamilton of Arkansas either. He would be a solid 2nd round option, if we went in a different direction in round 1. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. Yeah, I just wanted to put his name in there because I really like him. I just wanted to get his name on our board . |

"Seattle needs to Throw the Football"
http://seattletimes.com/html/dannyoneil/2019505475_oneil24.html
Quote: | The Seahawks aren't exactly running on fumes.
At least not yet.
But if there was a gauge for the engine temperature of Seattle's offense, it would be edging toward red given the sheer number of carries for running back Marshawn Lynch and the lack of passing production.
Lynch ranks No. 2 in the league in carries, putting him on pace to set a franchise record that would be a very bad sign. That has nothing to do with Lynch's ability, and it's not even completely about his durability, either.
If Lynch keeps getting this volume of carries, it would point to the probability that Seattle isn't throwing the ball any more often than it has these first seven games, and that would be a problem.
Seattle is last in the league in pass attempts, a conscious decision coach Pete Carroll made in the hopes of not overwhelming rookie quarterback Russell Wilson.
"I'm trying to make sure we don't go too far too fast and overload him," Carroll said. "See if we can find a winning formula with that in mind. We're right on it."
Seattle is close, there's no doubt about that. Six of its seven games have been decided by seven points or fewer. It has won three of those games, and lost three.
The Seahawks can keep playing this way. They have enough home games left they might actually finish with a winning record without ever getting more ambitious in the passing game.
Seattle is averaging 25 passes. No other team is averaging fewer than 28 | . _________________

Yeah, I've been concerned about Lynch's longevity. I actually think that we still need to invest in a RB decently high in the draft wither this year or the next. Lynch's style is not meant for a long career. I have a little thing that I call the Ladanian Tomlinson rule
LT
1) 2001
2) 2002
3) 2003
4) 2004
5) 2005
6) 2006
Lynch
1) 2007
2) 2008
3) 2009
4) 2010
5) 2011
6) 2012
Give or take, RB's have 6ish years before they start declining. And I know the number of carries are what's important but Lynch is not lacking in that department given how Seattle uses him |

I agree. We need to give Turbin 10+ carries a game. |

I agree with this 100%...everytime he is in the game and gets touches he makes the most of it (except against the 49ers ) _________________

I care less about longevity and more about productivity...
If giving Lynch the rock as many times as we do produces 3+ TDs a game, then I wouldn't care.
The fact of the matter is, our play calling is atrocious... _________________

Definitely. The play-calling is an issue, but the earliest that Bevell could be gone is this offseason. And I don't want Marshawn beat into the ground for a season where we won't be going all the way. |

I would agree. The problem is not mutually exclusive- they are connected. If the way we were calling things allowed for better results then Bevell wouldn't need to go. _________________

If Bevell could adjust, then I wouldn't be calling for his head. He doesn't need to be Sean Payton, but god the man is so predictable. |
