| Rotoworld wrote: | | Rams signed G/T Chris Williams, formerly of the Bears. The former first-round pick proved a hot commodity after being released from the Bears last week, drawing at least four workouts. He could see time at tackle with both Wayne Hunter and Rodger Saffold banged up, but Williams will likely see more snaps at guard. Left guard is his best position, and the Rams released Quinn Ojinnaka on Monday after inserting Shelley Smith into the starting lineup for Week 7. Williams has made 38 career starts, 20 of which have come at left guard. |

Ok, seems solid enough. Can't hurt to have more depth. _________________

| Good signing, he can't be worse than what we currently have for depth. It's really a shame how many different lineman Bradford has had to work with so far this year. |

Solid depth signing. Swing tackle and can play both guard spots. Has always had talent. Lets see what Boudreau can do with him. _________________

With what Boudreau has gotten from everybody so far this year I like the signing. Had talent just couldn't put it together lets see what the coach can do with him. _________________

Definitely could be worst. I would like to see Williams start at LT with Barksdale at RT. Think it would benefit everyone on the line. Richardson has got to be the next one to get benched. _________________

Not me, I'd like Barksdale at LT and Williams at LG. Guard is Williams best position _________________

That was me. Sorry, NFL.com was reporting it at the time. As the person who started the other thread I am glad to see we signed him though. _________________

If Williams sees the field it should be at tackle. I thought he failed miserably as a guard in Chicago.
I just want to see a consistent offensive line for once, we've been re-shuffling week to week for over a full season now. _________________
