With the obvious success of the Rams defense thus far this year (Who is running the D anyway, Waufle?) do the Rams as an organisation and coaching staff move on from Williams if and when he is reinstated to the NFL by the league? _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Hard to tell how much loyalty Fisher has for Williams. He won't really discuss the situation with Gregg at all. The defense play calling is being run by Gregg's son Blake Williams who's also the linebacker coach. You also have Dave McGinnis as Assistant Head Coach, Chuck Cecil as DB coach and Waufle. A lot of experience on the staff running Fishers defense. _________________

We'll see I guess. Blake Williams is currently the defensive play-caller although we're using a DC by committee approach with Blake, Chuck Cecil and Dave McGinnis. _________________

Never liked him in the first place so I hope so. _________________

| Do we need him? I don't think I've ever seen our D better then it is now (ceiling wise at least, but still better then anything I can remember since the move to STL). Can/should the committee thing continue? Is Blake the future? |

Yeah the defense is playing better than ever right now, and yes--that may have to do with improved talent, but i think the coaches have it down pat right now. Honestly if the guy ever is allowed back, I see no reason for us to have him back _________________

| Blake Williams is doing a fine job, but at the same time I am curious of how much better our defense could be with Greg Williams calling the shots, that's if he could do any better. |

I think we should stick what what we have now, like the D the way it is. _________________

I could see Gregg being hired as an adviser or an assistant. I highly doubt any other team will hire him. Fisher and Gregg are best friends, so he can definitely find a spot for him. I just hope he wouldn't make him defensive coordinator. His son is doing a fine job. Don't fix something that is not broken. _________________

That championship defense was no joke. They just didn't receive credit because the offense was so prolific. _________________
