I'm pretty sure Arizona knows they don't have a franchise quarterback, so that has to be addressed as well. |
Problem is, the Cards might win too many games to draft a franchise QB and they cant afford to trade up a lot of draft picks to make a move. |
I see your point, but I would say that what they really can't afford to do, is ignore the elephant in the room another year...again. Their O-line needs to be fixed, though. That's the number one priority. Not only is it going to cost them games, but it's hurting players. Not just physically and emotionally, but their trade value as well. That's what really hurts in the long run. No one wants a perennial injured player. _________________

Damn, I hope Skelton is ready to go and run. That OL is a major problem _________________

Take the Titans route, and pretend that it doesn't exist and ignore it for several seasons. |
Minnesota did that for years too, always figuring some late round pick would be a diamond in the rough. not.
this year they wised up and took Kalil at #4. _________________

It better be round 1 cuz that line is pitiful |
Round 1 AND round 2. Take a page from the Steelers draft in 2012. The Cards need a lot of help. |
Except don't pick ones that get hurt. _________________

| There's still hope for a Cardinals collapse and securing the rights to Geno Smith |

The Cards need a lot of help. Still think they need a capable NFL QB before a lineman so I can see them going for a QB in Rd. 1 and then get a lineman in Rd. 2 of the draft. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

Seems like a Houston Texans-David Carr disaster waiting to happen. I would ideally prefer to spend on offseason building the Oline up and then get a QB, any rookie QB is going to get creamed behind the current line. Though that isnt always the case, if there is a more talented QB prospect available. I see the Cards picking in the 14-18 range this year so they are much less likely to be in position to even grab a decent QB prospect. |

You could say that about several teams though.
Many teams are "a QB away" |
That really is the case with the Cardinals, though. Their run game (when healthy) isn't bad and they have a nice group of receivers. With that defense, all they need is a QB who can keep them in it. Unfortunately, they don't have that.q _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |
