Hopefully Shelby gets that, "Young guy, doesn't understand how much pressure is on him" and dominates.
Plus the way they've been pitching lately I'd take Shelby over Jaime anyway. _________________

Jaime was pretty damn good his last handful of starts in the regular season. |

Yeah he was. There is something about him that worries me with playoff starts, though. He isn't the strongest mentally. Stick Carp's mind in Jaime's body and you have a top 5 pitcher. _________________

Hope we didn't spend all our offensive output on these last two games. We've gotta keep that momentum going. Being up 2-1, with Lohse & Wainwright next in the rotation, I like our chances. Gotta go earn it, though. _________________

We all knew our offense is feast or famine. It's a shame because Lohse pitched a gem but made one mistake..
I'm confident in Waino but I'm still nervous as hell with this offense tomorrow going up against Gio. _________________

Wainwright outpitched Gio in game 1, no reason he can't do it again just need our bullpen to not screw things up more than anything. |

Yeah, he did. Gio also had 7 walks and only allowed two hits which he basically gave us those two runs as well. If we can 3 or 4 runs, I like our chances. I think Waino will go at least six innings.
We faced Doc last year and beat him, no reason we can't beat Gio either. I'm just nervous about the game.
I have to work till 9 so hopefully when I get off we have a lead. Last Friday I had to work during the game so hopefully they can repeat the results (minus the infield fly so people don't blame one play for the outcome). _________________

I'll be amazed if the Nats come back and tie this or even win it. _________________
