I'm always interested in reading people's opinion about the future of the Lions and seeing what mocks they can come up with regardless of how crazy they may be. It's the reason I ended up on this website to begin with. It's even in the tittle... "Footballs Future".  |

I seem to know a lot of useless trivia as well... or at least that's what everyone tells me when I feel like I just told them something really cool.

I think the odds are pretty good that Backus isn't back considering we drafted Reiff. Dom probably is back another year just cause we currently don't have a replacement lined up.
Last I heard though we weren't scheduled to have much more cap room than last season plus Stafford and Suh's contracts are getting to the point that they need to be renegotiated as both are both due something like $20 million next season. |
IMO Dom's replacement is the guy we stole from the Cowboys back in preseason. Bill Nagy from Wisconsin, Dallas loved the guy and was banking on him as their C of the future but he has had a couple of foot problems.

I don't know that we are going to be top-10-pick bad this year but we have an awfully big hole to get out of and I'm not convinced this team hasn't stopped diggin it!
I think we are going to be something along the lines of 6 wins by the end of the year. When guys start coming back from the PUP and get healthy we are bound to win a few games so I wouldn't be suprised to see us really stay in the basement. This may screw up our draft position but I'd rather salvage some respect and beat a few rivals that are in the playoff hunt even if it costs us a few draft spots. |

| Along the lines of 2013 I believe Suh is up for free agency in 2014? As it sits right now is he worth resigning? What is he going to ask for? And if he doesn't resign is there anyone we m ight pick up in 2013 or 14 to groom as a replacement? |
