I see the Bengals winning 31-17... |
I think DQ will play. I don't think Rubin will. |
Well that sucks for us. Glad to hear it's only a minor (relative) concussion though. Always enjoy seeing DQ on the field, even if it is against the Bengals.
Rubin missing will be huge though, IMO. He was shutting down the run pretty well in our first match-up. With Haden back (even if he is rusty), we'll need to be able to run the ball. Although Hughes was playing pretty well last time we faced.
Whose going to be the starting DT duo with Rubin and Taylor out? |

Our 2 rooks will start at DT, Hughes and Winn |

The couple of times I've seen Hughes, I've been impressed. Hope he doesn't match up with Boling and/or Faine. What's your impression of him been? |

In my opinnion Winn is better than Hughes at rushing the passer, but Hughes can clog up the run. |

Rubin is 99% likely out. DQ and Travis Benjamin have practiced. I'm just glad to have Haden back so our secondary doesn't get routinely torched like it did last time. |

Rubin, Sheard, Haden and DQ seem to be the guys that give us trouble. I've seen Whitworth shut down Suggs and Harrison and then struggle against Sheard. It's very odd. Not that Sheard isn't a good player but Whitworth usually figures guys out after he's seen them a couple of times. So far I think Sheard has gotten the best of him. Granted Sheard will probably be lined up most of the time against Andre Smith this game... |

I would hope that if he's healthy he gets limited snaps. I don't give a flying fart if he hasn't practiced, the secondary already sucks. Get him out there and adjusted before the stretch of Steelers/Broncos/etc where the secondary is really going to be tested.
No amount of practice will ever prepare someone for the actual game. _________________ If you're not in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

I think Sheard has success because he's really fast for his size. He has 4.6 speed at 260. |

I just don't want him rushed. If there is doubt don't play him. I don't want him to have another setback. So pumped to see him play _________________

Kirkpatrick is inactive today,
So is Sanu and Thompson and Iloka. Marvin Jones is active at least. A bit worried about what Josh Gordon might do today... |
