We have to draft a Safety you guys. Church and Sensabaugh are not the answers.
And I'm not talking 4th or 5th round projects. I'm talking about one who can come in Day One. Elam at S has won me over. But if not him Jefferson from Oklahoma is also good. _________________

I'd rather not have to use an early rounder on a Safety unless the value is too hard to pass up.With no premier Guards/Centers in Free Agency I'm really hoping we're able to get one of Jairus Byrd,Louis Delmas through Free Agency so we can focus more on the trenches in the draft.
edit: Didn't realize Branch signed an extension. _________________

That's true, but o-line and d-line are bigger areas of need and would make their overall units better.

Both Elam and Jefferson are 4th round prospects. The only Safety I'd be interested in within the first 3 rounds is Eric Reid from LSU. _________________

So,who are some above average Guards/Centers that 'may' be available this upcoming Free Agency?I don't see the current FA Centers being anything more than average and think we'd be better off looking for one in the draft, but one Guard I like is Andy Levitre,if he doesn't resign with the Bills and doesn't get tagged(I see Byrd getting tagged) I could see him as a very good pickup for us. _________________

FM, think you could break down Graham Pocic out of Northern Illinois? He seems to be the next best center prospect after Jones and Holmes. _________________

He's the pick that I been clamoring for in the 1st round, but since OL is such a need I think we have to go there or DL in the 1st and Reid won't be there in the 2nd.
And I disagree about Elam, I think he can be good value in the 3rd. _________________

Don't know if anyone is watching the Tech-WVU game, but Jace Amaro is a guy to keep on the radar, not this year as he is only a sophomore, but next year. He's in the Jimmy Graham type mold. Not a great blocker, but can catch and run like a mofro. _________________

Most likely we will lose Anthony Spencer. We will prob. need to replace him. Butler has not shown to be able to stop the RUN. I don't know if he can be trained to do so but thus far he seems to be out of position. Anyone else has notice this???
If that's the case then we would have to draft an OLB within the 1st 3 rounds. |

speaking of Outside linebackers... my man crush of this draft is Dion Jordan. _________________

Ditto. He is the next profile I will be doing. What scares me the most about him is that he lines up against slot receivers. I'll get a full thing up on him soon. Couldn't get around to it this weekend with exams and all that stuff going on. But the usual Wednesday update will be Jordan. If I have time, I will also get around to Des' request of Pocic _________________

don't really know what he did prior to his injury to show that he isnt.
- but I would like a safety in the 3rd round if he is BPA. and with this upcomming safety class, there's a good chance that he is. don't really see that big a reason to take a safety in the first two round since there should be plenty good ones left in the 3rd. also, I would like us draft Cooper to help our o line and maybe a defensive lineman or Chase Thomas if Spencer leaves. _________________ The lonely supporter of Phil Costa.. |

The more I watch UF, the less likely I believe that a few key players will declare early. I would almost all together remove Elam from consideration. He started the year as a mid-round prospect and could end possibly as a late second this year - or he can wait and go first and have a chance at a national championship next year.
Also. I want JD! _________________
