wouldn't hurt to kick the tires on Cliffy and see how he looks. bring him in, get him evaluated, and just see where he's at. he's not the long term option but it wouldn't hurt.
IMO opinion we need to adapt better to the games. if teams are playing 2 deep all game we have to go underneath and bring those safety's up, much like teams do to us all the time. using screens and draws as well might help. our o-line is not good plain and simple but you don't have to have a great o-line to win a game. _________________

If Clifton was healthy and ready to go, he would be on an NFL team. Starting caliber LTs don't just sit around, they're in high demand. The ship has sailed on that front.
We can get by with what we have if we adjust better. Rodgers has held the ball too long, and the play calling has made problems worse. |

Both the Eagles and Cards lost their LT's before the year started and Cliffy barely got a sniff. If Clifton was able to play football, he wouldn't be a FA right now. _________________

I do not know if this would warrant a new thread, so I put it here.
Apparently Sherrod might not be ready as soon as some have hoped.
| Quote: | | “That's really next week's conversation, but they're progressing,” coach Mike McCarthy said on Thursday. “Frank is getting close, I know Andrew also seems to be pretty close and Derek's probably a little further away.” |

This is pretty vague, but still shows that Sherrod may take the full 3 week roster exemption. |
