As far as running backs go, priority number 1: get a guy with minimal injury history. I haven't really looked into RB though since I thought we'd be set at that position for another 5 years
That crosses off Christine Michael, Marcus Lattimore, and Knile Davis
Priority number 2: get a guy that can play 3 downs. We don't know if Beanie will ever be able to stay healthy and then there's Williams and LSH. He needs to be able to carry the load if need be, pass block, and run between the tackles.
Priority number 3: don't draft a RB highly and definitely not before you've revamped the OL. As of now I wouldn't take a RB before the 3rd round.
Right now I like Le'Veon Bell from Michigan St. He's big at 6'2" 244 kinda like a Legarrette Blount. He doesn't have much mileage on him since he's been splitting carries over much of his college career.
I also like Stepfan Taylor (Stanford) and Giovani Bernard (North Carolina)
It's hard to know where these guys will be projected come draft day though. _________________ Favorite 2015 Prospects: Tyler Lockett WR, Tevin Coleman RB, Laken Tomlinson OG, Shaq Thompson LB, Nate Orchard OLB |

Lemonier did not impress me much in the game I saw of him.
Aboushi looked solid, but not spectacular. Viginia has a good string of NFL tackles though from Ferguson to Munroe to...
Dion Jordan is tough to get a read on, so smooth and so atheltic. Will probably tear up the combine and go in the top 10-15. Tall and thin though. _________________

I like Jordan a lot. He's a freak athletically and has even covered slot WRs and outside WRs. That's crazy. The problem is he's real lanky at 6'7" and only 240-245lbs. He could get pushed around in the run game and lose the leverage battle. He has some pass rushing skill though and could become a ST star. He reminds me of Michael Johnson from Georgia Tech and now with the Bengals in terms of flaws/measureables. He took awhile to adapt to the NFL but he's a good player now. He could become a better Manny Lawson type of player though since he's great in coverage and has a good speed rush. _________________ Favorite 2015 Prospects: Tyler Lockett WR, Tevin Coleman RB, Laken Tomlinson OG, Shaq Thompson LB, Nate Orchard OLB |

#16 Johnthan Banks and #18 Justin Hunter square off this week. I'm gonna make it a point to try and find that game. |

My main issue is are we drafting top 10 or 20's or later ?
All too early to say, we need 6 more weeks to start deciding where we sit on the board
I would love Rhodes from FSU to team with PP, but that is a luxury we can't afford atm |

You mean the guy who tore his ACL last season?
He should be completely off the list. |

Yeah not to mention he's not even playing well right now, probably because of that injury. Same with Knile Davis. They're not even 100% right now so no way I'm taking them. If you're gonna take a chance on a back like that we might as well just keep rolling with Beanie Wells. _________________ Favorite 2015 Prospects: Tyler Lockett WR, Tevin Coleman RB, Laken Tomlinson OG, Shaq Thompson LB, Nate Orchard OLB |

Agree 100%.
If we really are gonna take a back, it has to be a back who projects to fixing our main problem. Our main problem is health. Lattimore and Davis pretty much have to be off the list, even if they slip unexpectedly. We simply can't add another back with injury concerns to this group. |

That is painting everyone who has been injured before tarnished forever.
That is pretty narrow minded.
RW got unlucky twice, that is not injury prone, he has only been in the league 1.5 years, not 10.
If you say anyone that has had an injury that takes more than a few weeks is off the list our draft board is about 15 players. |

Maybe it is narrow minded but I find taking another back with an injured past to be incredibly short sided. It's also as if we'd be forgetting WHY we're taking a back in the first place. We're not gonna be taking a back because our current backs are awful and lack talent, we're gonna be taking a back because our current backs can't stay healthy. Taking a guy coming off an ACL tear would be, IMO, incredibly short sided.

Barrett Jones of Alabama is a scheme fit right? Not to mention ridiculously versatile. First round option? _________________

The versatility would certainly play well with us. |

Barrett Jones would be great. Would be an improvement over Colledge, Sendlein, or Snyder. _________________ Favorite 2015 Prospects: Tyler Lockett WR, Tevin Coleman RB, Laken Tomlinson OG, Shaq Thompson LB, Nate Orchard OLB |
