And if our OL could block on FGs better last year, Gano would have been in the high 80%. _________________

so what's the scoop on your kicker this year?
you won't want to hear about the Vikes' kicker, and the season he's having. _________________

He blows.
Thats all you need to know.
If he isn't replaced by this sunday, then we will probably leave 3-9 points on the board E Z. _________________ RIP SSF

Cundiff has missed two 31-yard field goals this season. That's inexcusable. The ONLY thing Cundiff has going for him is his kickoffs. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan

Even on kickoffs Cundiff would be below the league average. To go further:
- Forget about 50+, it's not plausible.
- 7 of 12 for the year - two 31-yard FGs missed, one in the 40s and two 50+.
In my view, he does not look confident right now and as such he is a liability. If he's not replaced tomorrow, it's probably next week; he's been one of, if not the worst kickers in the league this year. _________________

As footy said, it seems like confidence. I don't see how he lasts this entire season, but Shanahan doesn't make changes with kickers in season. If ths inconsistency continues, he's got to make a move. Missing two 31 yard Fgs in back to back weeks is just inexcusable. _________________

We just had a guy who IMHO was better than Cundiff on our roster just a few weeks ago and we cut him the same day we signed Cundiff. Not sure what they are waiting on.
Also, this is not inspiring to those who want Gano back.

I love Gano but if one of them can lock down the Kicker position for 8-9 years I won't care who they are. Just make the darned kicks please!! _________________

BTW - Footy can attest to the second one, but the two hardest things to do (solo) in sports are (in order):
1.) Hit a baseball
2.) Kick a FG
Has to do with physics and also the physiology of the human body.
I can explain more if you'd like. _________________

i love me some Forbath! That kid has talent, if they sign anyone to replace Cundiff. I'm in favor of him. _________________

I would probably go a) Forbath, b) Brown, c) Mare. In my view, you stick a young player in a competition with two vets to see how he performs. Having said that, the move to Cundiff indicated that they were most concerned with <45 yards, which seems to suggest that Josh Brown will get the nod. _________________
