We're really not, we've played mediocre teams other than Denver. The right side of our line is in major flux, which im sure Mathews will take full advantage of.
We really haven't ran the ball all to well, Arians only putting up numbers because he's getting a ton of carries.
We play 3 CB's and 3 S's in dime and our 3rd safety Demps broke his forearm last week so now we have a question mark their. So y'all should be able to exploit out secondary outside of JJoe. |
Thank you for coming in here and being respectful about our team and I wish you guys the best of luck.
That being said, your not going to need it. We absolutely suck right now. Honestly I don't even care what the score is as long as Aaron doesn't get killed by Watt, Barwin, Reed, or a combination of the 3. I'm glad this game is on primetime. Getting our asses kicked on national television should at least restore some of the passion we had so, so long ago. |
We suck extra bad on national TV so this week ought to be a blast. _________________

I am a firm believer history repeats itself, as 2009 and 2011 would say about the NYG, the way the whole season unfolded both years. 2010 season we lose 2 OT games week 5 and 6 against Redskins and Dolphins we should have NEVER lost, and all the injuries taking place in those first few weeks, not to mention a fluke loss to the Bears in the week 3 Monday night game. The rest is now history from what happened after that point. Well, here we are again. The one person who does play with an edge on our team though is Rodgers. I truly believe he goes back to the drawing board and comes up with some answers. |
I haven't given up hope for the season just yet but I'll be very surprised if we don't get blown out Sunday night. The Texans are one of the top teams in the league and right now we are in a major funk. We have the talent but for whatever reason we can't put it together. This started against the Gmen last year and we are still spinning our wheels. _________________

If we had jennings we probably would have been ok, but without we had no one to key coverage on and made rodgers' job so much harder.
If you notice the downhill...er falling off a cliff of the offense occurred immediately after his injury. |
Yes, for all the complaining by folks at least he finds a way to get open - that's a lot more than Nelson did. Aaron did overthrow Jordy a couple of times but I can't remember him getting more than one catch in the second half. _________________

Not to mention you guys are going to come into the game pissed.

yeah, the packers will probably go into Houston & win, then lose the following week to the rams...
this team makes no sense & plays with 0 consistency
we are at the moment a pathetic football team
fortunately the packers seem to play like this early in the season more often than not (with last year being an anomaly ) |
Don't we play the Jags after Houston?
You know, I will be happy if the guys come out next week and at least play well even if they lose. If we see improvement in our passing and running game and we keep the game close that will be encouraging going forward. _________________

| Random thought... When was the last time we blocked a field goal? I'm damn near a 22 year old man and I can't remember it ever happening. |

| I'm not worried at all. This team is still a contender and has the talent to win big games. I'm just waiting for them to turn it on. |

Didn't Jolly block one once? Or, someone did in '09 or '08. Not sure who. _________________

Crosby blocked 2 tonight...
Texans 200
Patriots 100
Packers 0
They could get pressure with just rushing JJ Watt and dropping 10 if they wanted. That would still be good enough against the run too. _________________ GO PACK GO!
