A few things.

-Peyton is still Peyton. One of the best players to play the game, and someone that can make a 17 point deficit feel like nothing.
- Von Miller and Demaryius Thomas are absolute studs. The Broncos should go far this year.

- The refs need to call these holds on Chandler. He's being choked out every game.
- Nink was average as usual, but good job finding that ball.
- Defensive line overall couldn't get enough pressure without Mayo IMO. Also, they were gashed repeatedly by Willis Freakin' McGahee.
- Something has to be done about this secondary... Making every opposing QB look like a future HOFer since 2008ish. Moore should be cut ASAP, and Dennard needs to be the #1 CB because McCourty is just trash. Sick of his constantly getting beat.
- Ridley and Bolden looked like studs again! The run blocking is #1 in the league.
- Daniel Fells needs to stop running routes. It's pointless.

That's all I can think of atm.
It's Elvis Dumervil syndrome, he gets held a lot but never gets called.

Speed rushers always get more favorable calls than power rushers. Explains Jones, doesn't explain Dumervil though.
Maybe Dumervil's lack of height makes it more difficult to see when he's being held. Confused
That's all I got.

Yeah it does definitely, the officials let it go both ways though didn't have a problem with any of the calls. Although the PI on both teams was just stupidity by the players.

Brady threw the ball 31 times tonight.
15 of those were to Welker. No other Patriot was targeted more than 5 times.

Almost easy to forget who else was even out there. Tamme was targeted 11 times for 6 catches, why we throw him the ball more than Dressan I don't know.

Best side effect of Hernandez (and Edelman) getting hurt.

The Pats passing game getting back to what makes it so deadly.

I wonder just how bad Gronk's hip is. He looked a bit slow getting downfield today.

Based on reports and the way he's moving, it's pretty bad.

I wouldn't be against them shutting him down for a week or 2, but the loss of his blocking ability would be huge - especially if Vollmer is out.

Its time to extend Ninkovich to a team friendly deal and start talks with Spikes as well.

The secondary is continuing to grow but both of them are just straight BEASTS. Their importance to the defense is huge. I would give Ninkovich a deal before Spikes just because of the reason that we need to see Spikes healthy more.

Loved what I saw from Dennard in limited action today. Hope he continues to see time moving forward.

Ninkovich played well today and parts of last week, but he's not a "BEAST" by any stretch.

He's a useful and pretty versatile guy who is also fairly upgradeable.

He was completely invisible and/or a liability for the first 3 games. As a LE, he isn't worth locking up for more than a year at a time.

Spikes, on the other hand, has earned a nice extension and hopefully he gets one sooner rather than later.

I'm all in favor of the Pats keeping Ninkovich as a backup and super-sub and finding a bona fide starting LE next year in the draft or free agency. Some big plays and a nice game today isn't enough to convince me he's the answer.

It was a small sample for sure, but he looked good and hopefully he takes some of Moore's snaps.

Dowling seems to be on the outs for some reason. I don't know how many snaps he played, but I only saw him on the field twice and there really should be no reason Moore is playing above Dowling.

They did just over a year ago. I think they'll revisit things next offseason, right when he's about to enter his contract year.

Thing is, if he's willing to take a "team friendly" deal, there is no incentive to lock him up before his deal expires or at least in the final months of his deal.

Give him another small 2 year/$4M contract next September if he continues to be useful. I wouldn't really go much higher or longer.

There aren't many places in the front 7 to upgrade (just Ninkovich and Love) so it doesn't make sense to lock him into that RE spot. I'm hopeful that either Cunningham or Bequette takes that spot by November 2013.
