Or make our close lose to Vikings look that much better?
Titans had Hasselbeck at QB today and while Locker is not amazing yet he has far more talent then Hasselbeck

Nothing another team does alters my view of the Lions win or losses.
Any given Sunday, and to date the Lions have been woeful on Sunday's.

Great game today for the tigers, hope they can ride this momentum and sweep them in 3 so verlander can start game 1 of the next series. Either way I think this team has asserted themselves as a legitimate World Series threat, regardless of who wins the Yankees/orioles series.

OF- Victorino---new leadoff guy
SP- Haren
RP- Soriano
Obviously cant land all of them but the BP needs help.

I would rather just keep Infante than add Kelly Johnson. Johnson shows flashes, but he is very inconsistent.

Only signed thru 2013 at 4 Mil a year. Not talking about replacing Infante. Just adding Johnson

If we make it to the ALCS who would you rather see us play, O's or Yankees? If the O's advance as well as us, does that mean we'll have home field, or is that based on season record?
Personally, I don't think I care who we play if we advance because we beat the Yankees last year and I have no doubt that we can beat them again this year with our starting rotation, the only thing that scares me is that softball park they play in which enable them to hit a lot of homers.
With the O's I'm not sure what to think of them, they really don't have as much "star power" as the Yankees and their starting rotation, as well as their offense has been less than stellar. However their bullpen seems legit, especially with Jim Johnson and Buck has them playing with confidence.
What Im trying to say is I have a better idea what we would be facing against the Yankees rather than the O's, thats why Im so torn on this. Of course none of this matters if we get swept in Oakland. |

Easily would rather face the Os. Not even a question IMO.
Yankees have the better rotation and Soriano is lights out in the 9th
A lineup with Cano, Granderson, Tex, Jeter, A Rod, Ichiro, Swisher scares the crap out of me.
So much playoff exp there too

Johnson is probably the #1 2B in a very weak class, so he would be a pretty expensive bench player. I would rather go after someone who can play multiple positions like Jeff Keppinger.
