You're using the term "QB" rather loosely. |

My Main problem is that the media gives him 100% credit when he was in denver when the defense came up with giagantic plays to say the least. He has no arm hes LESS Accurate the Sanchez which is an incredible feat. He is has a great heart il give him heart but he should not be a QB in the nfl _________________

Bottom line IMO is that we are in big trouble at qb this year. Sanchez looks like he's falling apart again (see end of last year); if we had a strong running attack, maybe A Tebow offense wouldn't be so bad but if we had any running attack Sanchez would have performed better and no one would be thinking of starting Tebow; last pre season McElroy looked like he could manage the game but to put him in at this point with no weapons would be asking for him to perform miracles.
Maybe without Holmes Sanchez won't have the pressure of getting him the ball and spread it around more. No Holmes could be a good thing.
If we aren't competitive against Houston and beat the Colts I see a 4-12 year. |

Yeah, just look at DEN last season... OH WAIT!
Orton had the same coach but he didn't win.
Orton had the same defense but he didn't win.
Orton had the same kicker but he didn't win.
Tebow, his backup, did. |

It's all because of Tim Tebow that Shonn Greene and Ladanian Tomlinson were injured and Matt Slauson scored the Jets' only TD. |

The legend of Tim Tebow.
The day he becomes the starter for the Jets is the day I'll find a new NFL team to root for. _________________

No lie, I was thinking about the Bucs if I was to ever leave NY. _________________

The Jets are committed to Sanchez no matter what happens through 2013. They're not to Tim Tebow. But once you start Tim Tebow, there's no going back.
Sanchez is the better quarterback, even if he's not playing well. It's in the Jets best interest, no matter whether if they're winning or not, to weather the storm playing with Sanchez the entire season than to play Tebow. |

Changing the mind during the season is not unheard. |

Theres no way in hell Sanchez should be the undisputed starter next year. Thank Tanny for that atrocious contract which I told you all was a huge mistake. Another reason he is on the chop block right now. _________________

Lets be real: Mark Sanchez is what he is. Until the players around him start playing better, he's not going to look to great. He's not Peyton or Brady, but even those guys have more functional weapons than Sanchez has right now.
Fans are more upset with Tebow because he was the last thing they needed as a football team: another side show. I would've much rather used that $2,572,500 salary and 4th, 6th round draft picks
Michael Bush's cap value this year? $2.0 million.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis? $3.0 million.
Peyton Hillis? $2.8 million.
Cedric Benson? $825,000.
Mario Manningham? $2.55 million cap hit.
Jacoby Jones? $1.6 million.
Don't get me started with the draft picks either... Orson Charles, Keshawn Martin, Ladarius Green, Evan Rodriguez, Nick Toon are all guys that could've helped us. |
Worst move the team has made since the Gholston pick. We could have easily acquired a WR either through a trade (James Jones) or FA (Manningham) had we not traded for Tebow. If we felt so determined to move those two picks, why couldn't we just use them to trade up in the draft. We easily could have ended up with Mario Manningham and Ben Jones (who is now starting for the Texans) on this team. We could have even taken Bobby Massie or Alfred Morris, both starters for their respective teams. What a pathetic, money-grabbing move. |
I'd say it's worse than Gholston simply because at least picking Gholston maked sense. We needed a pass rusher and we drafted one high. We didn't need Tebow yet we gave up picks for him. _________________

It is bummer that Eric Mangini won't admit his idiotic error. I want to know what was the alternatives to picking Gholston. |

Leodis McKelvin. Not much of an upgrade. |
