The problem is...the (majority of) people with the money to buy tickets to the stadium, are fair-weather fans. They buy into the hype each and every year. It's why we essentially have no home-field advantage and a loud stadium when the offense has the ball on a 3rd and 5. _________________

Maybe we're going to pull a Giants? Suck early, c'mon late and win a title?

Why not? The Talent is there, the execution isn't.

But you can't teach leadership, mental toughness, or accountability. And seeing that the same issues with "execution" have existed for nearly a generation, I'd bet good money that it won't change this year. Call it a hunch. _________________

Does it not take mental toughness or leadership to go into NY against the defending Champs and win? _________________

The talent is there at the skill positions but we are woefully lacking in the trenches especially along the O Line. The lack of talent on our lines will be our downfall. The O Line is dreadful. I hate to beat a dead horse but it is what it is. _________________ Northland

One game isn't enough to say a team has the mental toughness or leadership to win it all. Instead, a whole season does, and this team and its core have shown that it doesn't have the mental fortitude to win games when they matter. Two playoff victories since 1996 says it all. _________________

The Boys beat Minnesota in the wild card game in December 1996 and then lost to Carolina.
The other playoff win, as we all know, was against Philly in January 2010.
Thirteen years between playoff wins. _________________

You'd like to think that, but in truth perfection of a craft comes from dedication and a willingness to learn and perform. Both of which the team gives a half arse effort on. Paychecks are the drive of this team, not glory. There is no great hunger threre. I am not entirely convinced that even guys like Ware and Witten want a title and would just consider it a luxury instead of a right as previous champions think of it. _________________

Wow...really? I think if there's anybody on this team that wants a championship, it's Ware and Witten. You can't deny they want it bad. I'd throw Lee in that category as well. _________________

Ambition makes you an a-hole when you need to depend on others help your achieve and yet don't follow through with your same type of commitment. I can't remember the last time Ware or Witten did a pep talk before a game, walk up and down the sidelines even talking to players. Maybe they just do it behind closed doors, I have seen frustration out of Romo, TO, Newman, etc. But these two are always completely reserved with their emotions. Again maybe they punish screw ups by taking the snacks off their trays at the lunch-ins and away games and daring them to do something. But I don't see the frustration, they might have achieved all that their really content with doing and are just content with playing their hearts out to give their family a great life. No fault to them for that. I am just making an observation. If I'm wrong, and there are numerous videos showing evidience that I made a stupid guessbservation, then I will be more then willing to admit I'm wrong, I'm just saying I haven't seen it. _________________
