I really wish they would do the same but they don't. A swing/screen play is not only the responsibility of one player but the entire team. |
I have mooted the idea with them, apparantly their system means that you must attribute every target and every catch to a specific player.

I mean they need to make another category placing it on the team instead of one player. For example, like in basketball team rebound just score it similarly. Oh well, end of the day it was for only two yard but the bigger ones for like 50 yards bother me.

In the first year they were dpoing it they said DRC gave up an 87 yard TD to Randy Moss. It was a screen play.

That's why you can't put too much value into PFF. It is a flawed system.

If you don't care to do the research Khodder I fully understand but I do have a question that's best left to you, what percentage of plays has our defense lined up in a 2-4-5 set?

At a guess somewhere between 55-65% of plays over the season to date. We basically played nothing but in the Patriots game.

In this game Patrick Peterson tied the NFL record for most fumble recoveries in a game with 4.

The only thing I can think of to compare this to is when in basketball people throw the ball off the backboard and catch it to pad their stats. It seems just like that. I admit it is kind of funny however.
