How's the Widmer hefeweizen?

Not bad. Not the best hefe I've ever had. Def. drinkable, would buy again, but there's other beers I'd rather have. I'd rather have a Belgian white similar in character and taste for example. Their oktoberfest is fan-tucking-fastic though.

Unfortunately, no one within an hour has anything other than the hefeweizen. Laughing

If you can find Long Trail's Belgian white get that. Same basic idea, but dryer and smoother. Better taste too.

Nice to see Plan back posting. Must mean the wifey (or the newborn) let the chains off. Wink

And I think I need to change my sig. This "Return to Glory" is not working at all. However, I don't think "Mired in Mediocrity" would be appropriate - apt and true, yes, but not appropriate for a fan. Anyone have suggestions?

Went to the Rangers game last night expecting to lose - they didn't dissapoint. Disgusting game from our offense and I fully expect Ham's FA market value to have dropped hard the last two weeks

Hey...remember, I like beer now. Haven't had a "fruity drink" in over two months.

Just messing with you, You should try Dogfish Pumpkin, it is rather good. Also if you want a fruity drink, the lady ordered a 3 Olives Cake with Pineapple juice. Tasted just like a pineapple upside down cake.

I'm kind of afraid to try it. Last 'dog' named beer I had was horrible.

I am not a huge fan of their 60 mins, but I did enjoy the Pumpkin last night.

I know I'm going to get ragged on for this, but I made a cinnamon roll cake Thursday night.

Frickin' amazing. Made a great breakfast the last two days and goes great with the morning coffee.

LOL!!!

That being said, Des, it's great to be able to cook and bake. These are skills that will last you forever and are one of the most rewarding things you can do.
