| Quote: | The club released Lewis today, per DMN, saying goodbye to the special team specialist who actually saw some time in the defense.
Lewis was active in each of the last three games for Dallas, however he failed to make a special teams tackle. That probably would have been a good idea if he wanted to remain with the club. |
Well, do you guys think Kevin Kowalski will make his return or do you think we will bring in someone else? _________________

Word around the water cooler is that he is the most likely to be benched. Which, in truth, he has been the worst OL player thus far - and is likely a large factor in Free's enormous suckitude.
I wonder what will happen when Costa returns as well. _________________

Kowalski had good moments last year. I think he could be an upgrade at both C and G.
I say that but, as we know, Callahan never really thought of him as being in the mix at either position since OTAs. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

On May 9th, 2013, Brian Price was waived by the Dallas Cowboys. |

Ski is on PUP list and is not eligible to return to practice till week 6 when we can activate him. Then he has to have the 3 day acclimation period after being activated. And probably won't see any play time till probably week 7 or 8.
Considering he hasn't practiced since the OTA's I believe, he will be quite rusty and not much of an upgrade at least till week 9 or 10, if at all. _________________

| If Holland is in decent shape, I'd rather have him back. I don't understand why BornAdouche would be benched? Jerry you addressed the Oline. This is one of your prize free agents. |

Yea Jerry, you should have got DeCastro ( out for the year) and Konz ( can't crack starting lineup) . You sure screwed up again! |

I love it when people use stupid arguments like an injury to support their cause for why our not selecting a player was the right move.
Jimmy, do you know for a fact that DeCastro would've sustained the same injury in Dallas had we selected him rather than the Steelers? Can you assure us that the situation which prompted his injury would've occurred in exactly the same way on our team as it did in Pittsburgh to warrant that statement?
Come to think of it, do you even understand how stupid that statement is? _________________

plan, take out the first and last sentences and that's a decent post.
It's asking him for his opinion without labeling it as stupid. It will hopefully provoke calm and thoughtful debate. I don't see why it's so hard to make a retort without insult. _________________

So that validates poor signings, because Decastro got injured, and Konz isn't starting yet. I guess those two will never be any good. I wanted one of those two and a good vet signing. |

I've tried looking - and I haven't seen us sign anyone yet (maybe I missed it). So we are currently operating below maximum output. The only logical reason for me to see this has to be because of Kowalski return. And yes, Tex your right as to when he can return. But it has been a few days now and no one has been signed - do you have another theory? _________________

Well, we've already tried fielding just 10 guys on defense...maybe we are going to try winning with less? _________________

Hey! We made history when we only had 10 guys on offense. [Anyone know what play I am talking about?] _________________
