Down ~20 pounds since the middle of July. Feels good. |
trying to force myself to run in 45 degree weather |
Tried that yesterday, the cold air hurts my insides. Rocked the treadmill though. _________________

Nice job dude! I started working out at about the same time, and am down to 209. Still not where I want to be, but definitely much better than the 226 I weighed in late July. _________________

200 was my first goal. Next step is 190. Once I get there I'll probably re-evaluate what I want to do. But mostly, I'm just really glad my clothes are fitting better. Still pudgy, but definitely more confident and comfortable with how I look. _________________

Keep it up brahs. I'm on my quest to single digit body fat at/around 190 pounds.
Been a looong journey that involved a lot of screwing up.
Was around 220lb (FAT) in 08. Now around 196 at 15% BF (a lot stronger). |

I just started insanity three days ago, and this is the toughest workout I've ever done. I don't think I can go 6 straight days of this.. seeing I'm already very sore. I'm thinking I'll do this Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
I'm about 5'10 and 195, and want to lose about 10lbs. Hopefully these pounds come off fairly easily with doing this only 4 days a week. What do you guys think? |

Calories in vs calories out - if you ate 500 less you wouldn't have to do it _________________

Its not going to matter if you're still eating too much. Insanitys a great cardio workout and I saw great progress when I did p90x but I've been dropping 2-3 pounds a week at a pretty steady pace by just cutting calories and upping my cardio. _________________

Yep. If the goal is to purely lose weight and not so worried about getting in shape, then drop the video and just start running and eating less. Of course, if the goal is to get in shape at the same time, then the video can be a good idea. _________________

I am 3 days into a 40 day challenge Im trying to finish. I began one earlier in the summer but...that didnt work out. I'm trying to keep it simple.
-Actually go to the gym & work out -cardio and weights
-no soda & sports drinks (I drink a lot of both)
-no fast food ( I eat a lot of it)
I'm about 5'11 & have weight between 185-190 lbs since I was 13. I have a terrible diet and never exercise outside of pick up sports. But I never gained weight & always put muscle on pretty easily. I looked like I was in good shape, so I didnt care about bettering myself. But, a few too many trips to bars...the casino..and the beach this summer, annnd i was at 215 in August. Right now I am around 206-207. My goal for the 40 days is get back to 170. Its a stretch, but I think with such drastic changes to my lifestyle, its possible. I'll keep you guys updated. _________________
