The more I read and watch the more I am starting to realize that this seems to be a potentially exceptional interior OL class.
Chance Warmack
Barrett Jones
John Cooper
Khaled Holmes
All these players look like day 1 starters and potential dominant players.
Is this an exceptional interior OL class? _________________

| God I hope so. Maybe not in round one, but the Jets definitely need to do something about the OL. |

Yes, and Travis Frederick is better than anyone you listed, but he's a Jr. and may not come out. This is a BEASTLY OG class though. Holmes is a bit overrated, since he's almost strictly a ZBS C, since he lacks anything resembling an anchor. Barrett Jones will be in the area of a Nick Hardwick type C (with more bulk), where he's incredibly smart, will make all the calls and is everything you want mentally, and will do everything technically right, but doesn't do anything to wow you and doesn't have an elite ceiling. I need to do more scouting on Cooper to get a real gauge on him.
I said it all last year that Warmack is a better prospect than DeCastro is. And he's a beast, and definitely a 1st rounder, but IMO, Frederick is a special kind of player. _________________

Khaled Holmes really isn't that special. Don't forget Jake Matthews who can be a great OG or RT. And there are few others good ones. This is certainly a talented class led by mauler Chance Warmack. _________________

Was going to say, don't forget the Junior centers (Travis Frederick, Travis Swanson, Weston Richburg, Tyler Larsen) and the OTs turned OGs (Dallas Thomas, D.J. Fluker, Alex Hurst). _________________

Warford has impressed more than anyone. Also Holmes is terrible. Very overated. _________________

What about D.J Fluker as an OG?
The more I watch him the more I dont think he can play LT but he is so big and powerful. _________________

Too tall. He'd be at a leverage disadvantage on every single play simply because he's so tall and his height could potentially clog the QBs field vision and passing lanes. RT only. |

Chance Warmack is actually deserving of all the absurd praise this board gave DeCastro last year. _________________

He has no shot at playing LT to me. Way too slow with his footwork and is more of a mauling RT. _________________

Mario Benavides might be my favorite C in the draft. _________________

Kelechi Osemele, former Iowa State LT (drafted as an OG plays RT), taken in the second, I expect Fluker to do the same. _________________

There have been plenty of succesful guards his height or taller. I think he'd be a below average tackle, but a pretty beastly guard similar to Leonard Davis. _________________
