Fellow Brewers fans I am just curious as to who you guys are pulling for in the postseason. For me personally I am going with the O's or Tigers and the Braves.
O's or A's in the AL and the Nats or Reds in the NL.

Anybody but the Cardinals or Yankees.

Pretty much this. Hoping for BAL tho.

I hate the Cards more than I hate the Bears and Vikings. That's saying a LOT.

Well, the offseason is here, and I for one am on pins and needles trying to figure out the move or moves the Crew should make.

Is there anywhere that will have a list of the players who should be FAs this offseason?

As far as our back-up SS goes, I would either bring back Gonzalez or go after Jeff Keppinger. I know Kepp has been at 2B a lot lately but he's still a solid SS option and definitely the best on the market in terms of back-ups.

And there are a lot of interesting options when it comes to bringing in a veteran SP.

If I see Kyle Lohse or Ryan Dempster in a Brewers' uniform on a 3 year deal or so, I'm going to blow a gasket.

I wouldn't blame ya. Laughing

I was more or less looking at the high risk, high reward guys like Francisco Liriano, Edwin Jackson, Brandon McCarthy (if he's able to pitch again), Anibal Sanchez and Jonathan Sanchez.

Also, what are the odds the ChiSox pick up Peavy's $22 Million option? Floyd's $9.5 Million option? Halos picking up Ervin Santana's $13 Million option? Haren's $15.5 Million option?

There's a lot of interesting options out there. I'd only take Dempster on a 2 year deal but he's going to get longer than that. Lohse is, well, Lohse.

Kyle Lohse is a pretty damn good pitcher when healthy. He hasn't been the past two seasons.

He's not worth what he's going to get, but he's not a scrub. JMO.

Not sure if Anibal Sanchez belongs in that group - I have a feeling he's on track for a $60 M payday.

Those options aren't getting picked up. I'd actually love Peavy on a 2 year deal if we could get him.

We're a small market team, we can't overpay players.

Not saying Lohse is bad, but we can't afford him to be a #3 starter and make $15 M a year.

I can't disagree with that. It just sounded like you didn't want him because you think he's bad.

Oh no, if our rotation had Ryan Dempster and Kyle Lohse in it, that'd be dandy by me.

Yep, pretty much this. I like them both but we can't afford to put the kind of money they are going to get, on the table.

Even with the way he pitched for Detroit?

EDIT: Well, I guess he wasn't all that bad with the Tigers.

I would take any of those four but Peavy takes the cake, easily.
