If new ownership rips this coaching staff and roster apart and takes the browns into another "rebuilding" mode it might just cause me to give completely on this team... You can only make the same mistakes so many times!

Im not a 100% HHS backer, far from it actually, but you cant keep ripping apart the team every three years, over and over, and expect to get any better. Browns fans should understand this more than anyone. |

We keep Childress and bring in the Ryan brothers
BOOM |
I don't know how I'd feel about Rex but Rob is one of the most overrated DCs in the game, never coached a top 10 D in his whole career. |
Cowboys are currently ranked 4th |
I didn't mean that he never coached a top 10 defense after 4 games, I meant he never coached a top 10 D at the end of a season. |
When has he ever had top 20 talent to work with in his career? Oakland and Cleveland seriously? In Dallas he has talent now. Last year he did to an extent but the back 4 were horrible. I would bet the farm he brings home a Top 10 defense this year maybe even Top 5. |
A coach that needs top talent to be a top coach is overrated to me. Besides, Nhamdi, Washington, Huff, Howard, Burgess, and Sapp were pretty good.
Horton is a really intriguing thought schuttje. _________________ "If you can't stand the neural activity, than stay out of the neural activator" -Professor Fink

i dont feel that way...
if he was completely away from the game then yes but he hasnt. He has seen the way the game has change and he would know those changes unlike joe gibbs when he tried coming back |
I was more refering to Holmgrens age, I don't think he has another run in him |

Or what if Haslem decides to make a splash by hiring an Old HC for the team he use to be part owner in......the coach that has Browns roots.... |
I never thought of that....... _________________

Just checked. Cowher retired 2007. Haslam become minority owner of Steelers in 2008. They didn't cross over. _________________

| Steelers & Cards? That would make Horton a 3-4 guy, I seriously doubt we change defensive schemes again. Our best defensive player, DQ, is much better as a MLB than an ILB. I dont see it. |

I'd throw two other names in the coaching arena. Rob Chudzinski and David Shaw coach at Stanford. _________________ browns and indian fan 7272

I'm not saying you or cattleman78 were one those fans, but its funny how just a few years ago Chud went from fan favorite to someone the fans were calling for his head.
Again not saying you were one of those fans, but this fan base is a continuos joke. Its like watching a funny movie when you can't catch your breath because just as the laughter from one joke ends something even more funny happens. Its just a shame the butt of all those jokes have to be our favorite team, its players, coaches and fan base. _________________

Mike Zimmer will be yet again a big name tossed around from the coordinator to the head coach ranks. He had turned down interviews in the two years past, but you can only deny the temptation to be a hea coach so many times. Personally I think he would be a mighty good fit. _________________ "If you can't stand the neural activity, than stay out of the neural activator" -Professor Fink

That's simply not true. Oakland finished top 5 with him. _________________

Top five in yards allowed maybe, but his highest ranking in points allowed with the raiders was 18th _________________ "If you can't stand the neural activity, than stay out of the neural activator" -Professor Fink

What if a new coach comes in?
What if the Browns view this draft opposite of what we are all thinking?
1. Geno Smith, QB
(2. Josh Gordon, WR)
3. Cordarrelle Patterson, WR
4. Braden Hansen, OG
5. ......
6. ......
7. ......
Not saying I agree with this strategy, but its something that no one is really talking about. Figured it was worth throwing the idea out there.... |
