Why would the Pats sign him? They have a good stable of young backs already and what looks like a future star in Ridley. There's is 0 need for Jackson. |
Short yardage power back with very good hands? Who doesn't want that? |
A team that already has Brandon Bolden _________________

When I first heard this, I thought they were setting up a situation where they could bring him back but for less money. At his age, and the fact he hasn't been that healthy over the past few years, his contract either has to reflect that, or he has to go.
I can't see any team signing him to a somewhat large contract just to use him as a short yardage back. Plus, knowing Steven, he wants to be a starter, or at least get a lot of carries. Having less than 100 carries a season, if he's healthy, isn't going to make Steven a happy fellow. _________________ Kickers are people too |

A team that realizes that Jackson will most likely be paid pretty well, even at this point in his career.
It's possible that Jackson goes for a cheap deal for a winner in a situational role, but I wouldn't necessarily count on it. |

I'll tell you what, if Green Bay got him on a reasonable deal. That would be scary. _________________

Yeah... he gone.
You can just tell the new regime wants to go in a new direction. As a Rams fan, I'm completely okay with it. _________________

RBs will never be what they were 20 years ago. It's difficult to say how voters will handle this era of RBs. _________________

Daryl Richardson will be our starting Running Back next season regardless IMO , I have forgotten about Pead already. _________________

No. Coaching staff doesn't seem to like Pead too much & he has basically shown nothing this year (doesn't even have 1 carry).
Daryl Richardson is our guy. _________________

What's up with Pead though? _________________

D-Rich outplayed him and he hasn't gotten much on the field since. Wouldn't mind seeing what he can do but he was struggling in the preseason. He was hesitant hitting the hole. Wasn't adapting well. They might just be developing him further. Didn't seen at all NFL ready. _________________

We would only take him if doesn't expect to be the #1 RB and if he takes small contract. If the answer is no to either one of those than no thank you. Last year I really wanted him but with the sudden emergence of Bolden and Ridley we are no longer in need of main feature back. We are currently averaging 144 rushing yards per game btw. _________________
