Listen, I'm very critical of Woody Johnson as an owner, and as a decision maker for this franchise (other than the fact he has the means and the willingness to spend any amount of money on this franchise). But at the same time, this is a lot of nonsense.
The team has explained in no uncertain terms, that they very much want to see Mark Sanchez firmly established as the starting QB for the foreseable future. When an author of an article, takes an out of context quote from the owner that was debunked days ago as prime evidence to support some murky theory that the owner is hell-bent on making Tebow the starting QB of the NYJ- you should pretty much know that you can stop reading at that point, and return to whatever it is you were doing.
I mean, if you're going to allow every dopey article written by people who should be reevaluating the path in life they've chosen impact the feeling you have for you're team, maybe you should take a break from time to time. _________________

When was this...-Two people who know Johnson, and know how he runs his football operation, believe he will push his football people to start Tebow," Cimini wrote Tuesday."-... debunked?
Yesterday was the first time in a long time I'd heard anybody saying something about Woody exerting his influence to pressure Rex and CO. into starting Tebow.
And it's not the articles that are causing me to think this way; I've disapproved of the way this organization has been run in terms of personnel gathering and front office decisiion making for a long time. Whether it be overpaying Holmes (or choosing him over Dougie for that matter), trading away draft picks, bringing in Tebow; not taking care of our home grown players (Moore and others over the years).
Again, it's not impacting my feeling for the team, but how the team is run. It's just proof to me that our priorities aren't in order from top to bottom in this organization, and that this organization with Woody Johnson at the helm is not competent enough to build a franchise capable of obtaining long term success. |

From the Cimini article, admitting this is pure speculation.
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/8453380/new-york-jets-ower-woody-johnson-sounds-closer-pulling-plug-mark-sanchez-tim-tebow
"Don't underestimate Johnson's role in this. Two people who know Johnson, and know how he runs his football operation, believe he will push his football people to start Tebow. Let's be clear: There's no evidence to suggest this is happening, but only a naïve person would think this owner won't get involved if the product on the field continues to disappoint."
And the original ESPN article, after I looked at it again, began with referring to Tebow as "the Jet's left-handed Fullback".
All I'm saying is, as a fan of this team, you have to ignore the weekly noise on some level, or you'll hate the whole experience. I mean obviously, if going into the bye week Mark Sanchez still has a 50% completion percentage, it would be reasonable to assume that the Jets would shake it up and have Tebow make a start. But I seriously doubt anybody, including the owner, wants to see things come to that, when you really think about all the negative implications for the franchise that could have. _________________

If you have either girlfriend or wife, dump her and start to date either Jaime or Daisy. Who knows where your destiny lies. |

Thanks for that input Ricky. Everyone that logs on to the FF Jet's forum was on the edge of their seats to see where you stood on this issue.
Please post as often as often as you possibly can. _________________

It's not like the Jets are going anywhere this season so why not give Tebow a try and see what happens? If he fails, Ryan can tell everybody "See? He sucks and that's why he's not starting!"
Denver wanted the world to see how much Tebow sucked and gave him a chance to fail but we all know what happened with that experiment... |

Well he's not going to say "we're letting Tebow go after the season". So I don't fault him there. I really doubt he's on the team next year. Hs not doing that much, and you can see people are fed up talking about it.
I didn't know he had three years left on his contract though... |

The way things are going, either Sanchez or Tebow will be gone, and I honestly don't know who it will be at this point. _________________
