Two thoughts ::
1)
I hope Art Modell has a pineapple shoved up his butt every day in hell for what he did to this franchise.
2) No reason we wouldn't have won several super bowls had we stayed. No matter what you think of Bellichek he is one of the best match up specific coaches of all time if not the best. It doesn't matter his talent he can position them to beat any team in the league by film study and game planning. You add that kind of coaching with the talent evaluating skills of Ozzie Newsom, Scott Pioli and Thomas Dimitroff and its no contest. Then you add in the fact the 95 Browns were already good 3-1 before the announcement and had 2 first round picks the next draft. As much as everyone hates him Ray Lewis should have been a Cleveland Brown. _________________

I thought it was great- It helped me with a fight I have had with a friend for sometime now--
that If we didnt move-
A: Ray Lewis would be my favorite player ever
B: We easily would have won at least one super bowl!!
That staff was amazing- Belichick is one of the greatest football minds/ talent evaluators in football. Plus with Ozzie still a brown that would have only helped us!
The clip of the first draft as ravens were the teams second selection in the first round was ray lewis and was already in the works from the previous year (made my friend shut up for ever) kills me a bit inside to know now that with out a doubt we would have Ray dancing infront of the dog pound.... arghhhhh
This was a very well done nfl film _________________

Pat Shurmur is taking flak for saying he'd wait to watch it in the off-season.
The hate this guy gets is just getting silly. _________________

Had the franchise not been moving, its doubtful the team finishes 5-11 and ends up with Ogden.
The drafting during the Bellicheck era was awful.
They drafted 2 DBs and a FB top ten. And a center (a damned good one) top 15. And cut the greatest brown to play in my lifetime.

Also, you think the 49ers like that JJ Stokes for Ray Lewis trade?
Hindsight is 20/20. But Mike Lombardi is not Ozzie Newsome.
More or less, F Modell. Still. No RIP from me. _________________ There's always money in the banana stand |

When byner started getting choked up about how he felt for us the fans was pretty good. The rest of the hour i only had two thoughts. I am in better shape than everett, and i hope it hurt art. _________________

Watching it now...
Man this is tough. While it's showing me quite a bit about what I was too young to understand I can't help but shed some tears.
This is real.

My first game was the Oilers game where they lost and the announcement was made that Monday. I remember listening to it on the way home on the radio with my Late Uncle and my cousin in the car.
What a mess. _________________

there's no chance I am watching this. I lived through it, there's really no need to rehash that feeling. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

| Saw a lot of current player tweets about it. Seems like it fired them up a bit. |
