My head hurts listening to Skip Bayless. Good lord, his logic on basically isolating Dez Bryant and not including him on hot reads is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. Rather than benching Dez he suggests to change your entire offense around him and put more pressure on a QB. He said it is okay not to trust a WR and not let him take care of his responsibility. _________________

| I am not sure if anyone got the chance to watch the 95 Cleveland Browns special on NFL Network tonight, but it was very well done. |

A little bit of both, though mostly anger. The sadness had more to do with the personal memories that were lost by the move. My mom told me that she cried. She used to tell me the stories of how she went to games with her dad (who passed away before I was born). I am not sure that anyone outside of Browns' fans can truly comprehend what was taken away from all of us.
The anger centered around Modell and how salt was rubbed into all of our wounds by the success of the team and staffers that moved on from Cleveland. It cut deep when Newsome said that he guaranteed that had that staff stayed together in Cleveland that they would have won a Super Bowl.
However, since I was only 11 when the move went down, I cannot say that I experienced the same type of emotions that someone who had lived through the 60s, 70s, & 80s. Through the move came one of the memories I will always look back on and smile. Once it was announced that the Browns would be returning, I would go to my dad's work and we would look at the live camera shots of the new stadium being built.
I love being a Browns' fan. |

Haven't heard from Marky (he was signed up for this week, hasn't responded to PM's).
EZ, you've already done your share, so I'll have one up within the hour. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

I'm starting a thread about the NFL network's '95 Browns. It deserves it's own thread.
I know that because I had more posts on my Facebook feed about that show than the Presidential Debate.
If the mods lock it and say go to the OT thread I am quiting this forum forever and moving to the Baltimore board. |
