Some AMAZING goalkeeping today: Joe Hart, Abbiati, the Dortmund GK (name is escaping me) all had fantastic games and those are the only games I have seen so far.
BTW that prob wasn't a penalty but you gotta keep your arms at your side when you are in the box like that. |

| Also I didn't realize City was playing an away game. Their fans should feel bad |

And it hit him on the bicep not the hand. He's standing completely behind him, if you think that's deliberately extending his arm then I really doubt how much you've played, nothing he can do it's incredibly harsh. | Where it hit has no relevance. The point is if you're arm is completely extended, which it clearly was, and the ball hits the ref is almost always going to call it. There is a reason all four analysts on FSC thought it was a good call, I'm guessing because they were all rec players who don't know the rules (kind of like using the bicep or 'unintentional' defense). _________________

I don't know what you all are on about. Most blatant penalty I've ever seen. I saw palm and six fingers. On one hand. _________________

Yeah shout out to Kenneth Vermeer. Ajax GK. Could of been 1-6 or 1-7, but only 1-4. _________________

| It is not clear with this penalties, rules say "deliberate", I think 80% of referees would let it play, but still some would give penalty. |

Just finally saw the Subotic handball. Certainly can see why it was given but I agree with Robbie Mustoe and Janusz Machallik in the assertion that it was an incredibly harsh decision.
More importantly I told all my buddies that Dortmund were going to give City a footballing lesson and they certainly did that just as they did to Arsenal last season. Lovely team to watch _________________

When you have McLeish as your manager for a year that should be expected to happen
Villa doesn't play any home games anymore we suck just as much as anyone |

And there ends the handball debate. _________________

Defenders should know better than to extend their arms in the box. It was a harsh call but I thought it just completely justifiable. _________________

Villa have a historically bad home support.
I've been to several villa games vs united and its embarassing. _________________

I'm pretty excited to watch Henrik Mkhitaryan against Chelsea today. He's a guy I think can be a star. _________________

Alexis through on goal and wide on the chip!
You've gotta wonder if Barcelona will get a better chance than that tonight.. _________________
