Sure he likes Jesus Christ and all that but all I know is this: the man has won in high school, college, and the pros. Isn't winning the most important thing in football? |

He won just as many games as we did last year. He only made the playoffs because of a bad division. Raiders lost McFadden and Palmer came in a played terrible. Chiefs got killed by injuries. Chargers fell apart like they always do. He even had just as many rushing TD's as Mark did last year. He had a worst comp % than Mark did. He couldn't score in preseason against the back ups.
I would like to see him play better, but right now, I don't want him as the starter. _________________

Winning is the most important thing; but the credit for getting the W goes to the whole team, and not just one player.
The Broncos basically one in spite of Tebow, his performances were horrible but the Broncos pulled out ahead due to great defense and a insanely clutch kicker. Go back and look at how many games they won by 3 or fewer points. I believe there were about 4-5 of them.
You can say Tebow "engineered" several game winning drives, but in reality he wasn't able to move the ball down the field effectively at all, and he's more inaccurate than Sanchez, which is saying something.
I like the player/athlete and person, but he's just a bad QB. _________________ JetsfanDan on Point: Jetsfandan423 wrote: | The DMV is the worst place ever. They are even more unpopular than Manish. |

Another "he just wins" argument.
Sanchez has won at every level as well. It doesn't really mean anything.
We don't like him because he's a terrible QB, and all it will do is validate the idiotic and blind Tebow crazed media. |

OP is either 13 years old or just got into football last year with Tebow Mania.
Tebow won games 16-13 or 13-10. Hes a terrible thrower of the football and got the hype for playing like absolute crap all game but nutting up at that very end. All he would do is lose if his defense was only just mediocre and not great last year.
I dont care about his religion. Good for him, hes a great human being and for that I will always hope for him to have success whatever he does, but hes not a QB and he shouldn't be on this team. _________________

This is exactly why Tebow should of never been brought in. But our owner is a moron and only cares about publicity, and we the fans who actually want to field a winning team have to suffer for it.
Lets all start saving our money so we can collectively buy the team from Woody Johnson. |

I don't even care anymore. Sanchez has played in 3 straight games with completing less than 50% of his passes, Tebow can do that as well plus he can run.
Holmes is probably done for the season, we have literally 3 WRs right now for next week. Kerley, Schilens, and Gates.
Might as well start Tebow and convert to a spread option team, maybe Tebow will light some fire in his teammates because Sanchez sure isn't leading them. I have us going 4-12 at best this season. _________________

....because his backup is a better QB than him.
No team is going to maintain long-term success with Tebow. I could never respect this FO again if they started Tebow. _________________

Mark Sanchez has won in high school, college, and the pros. Isn't the most important thing winning in football?
Lets be real: Mark Sanchez is what he is. Until the players around him start playing better, he's not going to look to great. He's not Peyton or Brady, but even those guys would struggle with the weapons Sanchez has right now.
Fans are more upset with Tebow not for who he is, but because he was the last thing they needed as a football team: another side show. I would've much rather used that $2,572,500 salary and 4th, 6th round draft picks on a player(s) that would actually provide an impact on offense, rather than impact on the headlines.
Michael Bush's cap value this year? $2.0 million.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis? $3.0 million.
Peyton Hillis? $2.8 million.
Cedric Benson? $825,000.
Mario Manningham? $2.55 million cap hit.
Jacoby Jones? $1.6 million.
Don't get me started with the draft picks either... Orson Charles, Keshawn Martin, Ladarius Green, Evan Rodriguez, Nick Toon are all guys that could've helped us.

Worst move the team has made since the Gholston pick. We could have easily acquired a WR either through a trade (James Jones) or FA (Manningham) had we not traded for Tebow. If we felt so determined to move those two picks, why couldn't we just use them to trade up in the draft. We easily could have ended up with Mario Manningham and Ben Jones (who is now starting for the Texans) on this team. We could have even taken Bobby Massie or Alfred Morris, both starters for their respective teams. What a pathetic, money-grabbing move. |

I wish we can make #FireTannenbaum a twitter topic. If we lose the next game and the we made that happen. That will catch ESPN's attention. Woody is a terrible owner. I wish there was a way to get rid of him too. _________________

Because Greg McElroy is a more polished QB than Tim Tebow. So is Drew Stanton, and by the way, so is Mark Sanchez. Tim Tebow sucks, enough with this all he does is win [inappropriate/removed]. _________________

Great post minus the Sanchez part. Its not that he doesn't look great. He looks pathetically bad.
We are the worst drafting team in football right now. Its time to start taking a page out of the Pats book and playing the numbers. Trading down, stock piling. Yeah half of them dont work out, but when you have like 9 picks a year and you hit on 4 that become really starters, thats a damn good draft. The only players that weve drafted in the Ryan/Tanny era that are good enough to start and SHOULD start are Wilkerson (who has been one dimensional) and Coples who doesn't even start. Sanchez, Greene and even Slauson arent good enough to start but we have no one else. Not pretty.
We should be smart with money next year too and bring in the lower end free agents outside of the OL. If we can add a really good guard or T we have to regardless of the money. _________________
