Ooooh man.... I'd be really careful with that line of thought! Shocked

Gave me ulcers the whole time he was with the Phins!

I think we need to lay off the doom and gloom threads for awhile. It's only 4 games in. Yes after losses like this they are common but the year is young and we are just crushed by injuries.

Keller
Hill
Holmes
Revis
Connor

Our only true FB has been gone, our top 3 offensive weapons are gone, and our best player is gone. I understand that we don't have much to look forward to but let's try and stay positive at least until we are truly out of things.

I mean let's wait until after mid season before we start with the draft threads and fire them threads. I got caught up in the loss but I want to see more before I give up.

Don't forget Josh Baker too. He was playing so well there was talk that we might cut Connor, but then Baker got hurt in the preseason.

This is different from trypical doom and gloom. We are a below average football team all the way around that fails to do ANYTHING good right not, injuries aside.

The point you make isn't even good. What top 3 offensive weapons have been gone? Only guy that has been gone is keller. And I find it hard to believe Keller makes Sanchez's completion percentage any higher then 52% at this point. Hill might be our worst weapon on offense and Connor isn't even a good fullback.

The excuses are getting ridiculous. Were in the situation we are in because we make some terrible choices in the draft, in trades and in FA. We need an overhaul on offense and a retooling of the defense. Id rather suck the next two season and build the team into a real powerhouse then be mediocre for 5 straight years with no chances of ever being a real good team. Time to rebuild

Definitely understand he's not popular in Miami anymore, but I actually like his play calling in New York. It's a welcome departure from the insanity that was Brian Schottenheimer. He's probably not the answer, but he's also a no-nonsense guy and that's what this team really needs in the locker room right now.

Ill tell you one thing. I was ALWAYS scared of the Tony Sparano coached Dolphins. They were solid all around and never quit. Hes an intense guy and hes under the Parcells tree (I love Parcells). I wouldn't mind if he ended up being our HC. I just want a guy that puts emphasis on both sides of the ball equally. Something Rex hasn't even come close to doing. REx is 90% defense 10% offense. Its gross.

Which is why the guy is simply not HC material. All he does is praise. He holds no one accountable, calls himself a "defensive genius" and his defense has done nothing but regress, and everything he says has zero credibility these days. The players know this. Ryan is as good as done here. And now this idiot gets a plethora of season ending injuries to delay the inevitable another year.

Im not so sure he would have been fired this offseason regardless. Our idiot owner LOVES our idiot HC. I think Rex stays. Id still start McElroy and have some fun if we end up losing to the Colts after we get our T!ts lit by the Texans. Tebow should never ever be behind center outside of the wildcat.

We're a 2-2, first place team and there's doom & gloom threads. There's a reason for it. This team isn't very good and the hope for young players that can step up, break out, or add something to this team are slim to none.

We don't play like a 2-2 team. We play like, and have the talent of a bottom feeding AFC team.

Thank You. This team shoudl be 1-3 (1-1). Miami literally gift wrapped that win for us and it was like we couldn't bring yourselves to accept it. Two missed FGs a pick 6 literally right at Landry, and a friggin blocked FG that they called a TO on, and then made made it! We got outplayed in every phase of that game. Every single one. The Jets are a bad football team. Were going to be in the basement of this division very soon. I hate saying all this because I really thought we could win 9 games this year but theres seriously more of a chance that we win just 4.

I say the Jets go the full monty and sign TO, Plax, Ocho, trade for Randy Moss, and start Tebow. At least that will be the most entertaining Jets (NFL?) season imaginable.

Hell give us our own HBO show.
