Why does this happen to me every once and a while?!?!

You can't have spaces in the url tags.

Some sources (links) have an internal defense system that prevents it from being shared on forums for copyright reasons.
Quoting your blank post, it appears you're using something published by sports illustrated.
S.I.'s link has a built-in feature that blocks out posts made on message boards automatically.

Glad it was settled then, there was a case a long time ago when a link to insider paid information would automatically hide the post and fixing the coding wouldn't fix it.
