Previous Game Recap
Eagles
Associated Press via NFL.com wrote: | Lawrence Tynes missed a field-goal goal attempt from 54 yards with 15 seconds left and the Philadelphia Eagles held on for a 19-17 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday night.
Tynes went wide left on an attempt seconds earlier, but the play was blown dead after the Eagles called time-out to ice him. He was short on his second attempt.
With LeSean McCoy leading the way on the ground, Michael Vick guided the Eagles (3-1) to another comeback.
Alex Henery kicked a 26-yard field goal with 1:49 left and the Eagles overcame two pass interference penalties on New York's final drive.
The defending Super Bowl champion Giants (2-2) have struggled against Philadelphia, losing eight of the last nine meetings.
McCoy had 121 of his 123 yards rushing in the second half. The All-Pro had six carries for 2 yards at halftime.

Steelers
Associated Press via NFL.com wrote: | Sebastian Janikowski kicked a 43-yard field goal on the last play as the Oakland Raiders scored the final 13 points after wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey was knocked out and hospitalized by a scary hit to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-31 on Sunday.
The game turned somber early in the fourth quarter when Heyward-Bey was knocked unconscious by a helmet-to-helmet hit in the end zone by Steelers safety Ryan Mundy that was not called a penalty by the replacement officials. Heyward-Bey was taken to the hospital with a neck injury.
Carson Palmer then threw his third touchdown pass for Oakland (1-2), and Janikowski kicked two field goals to beat the Steelers (1-2) and give first-year Raiders coach Dennis Allen his first win.

--INJURY UPDATES--
Audi R8 Keys to the Game
Eagles
-[Secondary Rebound] - The defense has played well all season long, but last week the secondary seemed to collapse down the stretch, we were bailed out multiple times by untimely mistakes by the Giants and we can not continue to rely on teams to beat themselves the way the Giants did this past weekend.
-[Get it in the Endzone] - We were in the red zone quite a few times against the Giants and we just couldn't seem to put it all together for the touchdown.
-[Limit Turnovers] - Not only did we limit our turnovers against the Giants, we didn't have one. That's a very good positive, but this needs to be more of what is expected of us rather than the rare occasional surprise. We wouldn't have won last week if we had turned the ball over anywhere near the rate we have in the rest of our games.
Steelers
-[Running Game] - The Steelers, which have at times been the epitome of a team that relies on it's running attack, so far this season are averaging a mere 65.0 YPG on the ground, and a league low 2.6 yards per carry. Assuming last week was a fluke for our secondary, this won't cut it.
-[Pressure] - Once again our opponent is a team who has been notorious for getting to the QB, but like last week, they haven't been able to take him down much this season. Through three games they have a mere 5 sacks. _________________

Hmm, girl friend is trying to force me into going to a baby christening on Sunday. Seems as though I'm feeling violently ill already. |

So James Harrison will probably be back....we might finally get a roughing the passer call this week in our favor. _________________

Harrison, Polamalu and Mendenhall are all expected to be back. THe Steelers are 4-1 after byes under Tomlin, including 4 in a row.
We need to channel our inner Dawk and get the job done again.
