I posted a few times about my craptastic start (see above), but seeing as I'm getting curb stomped so far, I might not post in here any more. _________________

I like this re-cap button
| Quote: | Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit Pulls Off Comeback over Rickety89Crickets, Notches Third in a Row
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit (3-1) 142.27 Rickety89Crickets (2-2) 130.67
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit picked up their third win in a row when they beat Rickety89Crickets 142.27 - 130.67 in a Sunday night comeback. They got help from Roddy White, who got the second-highest point total of the week. The streak is the result of some high scoring by Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit, who owns the third-highest overall point total in the league this season and is averaging 127.39 points per matchup. Rickety89Crickets goes to 2-2 and slides to ninth place. Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit is in third place, having now defeated Blah's Angry Koalas (137.43 - 137.13) and Eagles27 (119.53 - 92.43).
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit Smooth Moves
With 36.90 points, Roddy White had the second-highest WR score of the week and the second-highest WR score in the league this season.
The 29.17 points scored by Peyton Manning was the fifth-highest QB score of the week and is the ninth-highest QB score in the league this season.
Benched Joe Flacco, who had the lowest QB score on the team with 21.27 points.
Was smart to sit the New York Jets Defense this week, which had 3.00 points, the lowest DEF score on the team.
Benched RB Pierre Thomas, who scored fewer points than any RB in the starting lineup with 3.30.
Rickety89Crickets Regret Tracker
Should have started Josh Freeman, who underachieved, but still had more points than the starting QB with 13.77 against a projected 14.65.
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit had a better day at the QB position, topping Rickety89Crickets 29.17 - 5.97.
Alex Smith had two season-lows this week. He scored a season-low 5.97 points and got only 64.7% of his projected point total, his lowest percentage of the season.
Only 3 of the 9 starters on Rickety89Crickets underachieved this week, but they still lost.
The Buffalo Bills Defense fell short of their scoring projection with 4.00 points, just 36.3% of their projected 11.02.
What If
If Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit played Rickety89Crickets every week, they would be 4-0 this season.
Besides Rickety89Crickets, Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit would have defeated seven other teams this week.
Had they played each other last week, Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit would have defeated Rickety89Crickets 119.53 - 111.80.
If they played the same schedule as Rickety89Crickets, Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit would be 2-1.
If Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit had played every team in the league each week, they would be 27-17.
Rickety89Crickets would have lost to four other teams besides Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit this week.
Rickety89Crickets would be 1-2 if they played the same schedule as Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit.
Rickety89Crickets would be 15-29 if they played every team every week.
Game Notes
All three of the wins for Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit this season have come despite their opponent scoring higher than their season average.
Although Rickety89Crickets lost, they did put up the second-highest score for a losing team in the league this season.
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit won but failed to cover the 31.38-point spread, winning by 11.60 points.
Despite being on the winning team, LeSean McCoy scored 16.00 points against a projected 20.73 and has now underachieved in every game this season.
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit had their highest score of the season and the 10th-highest in the league this season with 142.27 points.
Rickety89Crickets got a combined 51.80 points from their WRs, their highest combined scoring output from the WR position this season.
Antonio Gates scored 8.90 points against a projected 12.23 in the win, and has now scored below his projection in three straight games.
Nabbs M*A*S*H Unit has now won three games in a row. |
