The team has played one really good game and three subpar games (well, at least the offence), yet they are 2-2. However, this was arguably the easiest part of the schedule. The remaining 12 games after the bye week are against some really tough opponents, and the next five games are against some of the elite teams in the game.
Any predictions?
@ Baltimore
@ Carolina
vs. NY Giants
@ Atlanta
@ Philadelphia
vs. Cleveland
vs. Washington
vs. Philadelphia

The season is over, I think. The chances of beating most of those tough teams and taking care of the weak teams is unlikely, especially with the receiver and line play this year. I'm guessing 7-9. |

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the team went winless over the next 5 games. That's a really, really tough stretch of games. _________________

I wouldn't be surprised either. But, on the flip side, if this is the same team from last year (which right now it looks to be), we will do this:
@ Baltimore: W
@ Carolina: W
vs. NYG: L
@ Atlanta: W
@ Philly: L
vs. Cleveland: W
vs. Washington: L
vs. Philly: L
@ Cincy: L
vs. Pitt: W
vs. NO: L
@ Washington: L
We will be 7-7 with a chance to finish 9-7 and squeak into the playoffs, only to lose 2 winnable games at the end of the season. Book it. _________________

In fact, you heard it first here. I guarantee we beat the Baltimore Ravens in convincing fashion when we come off the bye. _________________

I would be VERY surprised if we didn't win a game out of the next 5.
Losing 6 games in a row is not common in this league - and while I think the Cowboys are playing terribly and we have a tough schedule, losing 6 games in a row is something I would be very surprised about. _________________

Put us at 9-7 and 4-2 in the division. I think we miss the playoffs however. I don't see the NFC East getting a wild card this year with the emergence of the some other teams. _________________

I like the optimism here. I will say this although I'm not confident at all about winning in Baltimore but if they do I can see where they wouldn't lose again until @Atlanta. I don't see us losing to Carolina. That defense is really bad and I think we are just due to beat the Giants at home. I don't know like I said winning @Baltimore is a tough task in itself but if we can win that game it will be huge. If we lose that game who the hell knows where we'll end up.

I can't see the Boys going into Baltimore and beating the Ravens. The Ravens are a physical team, and this team folds against this type of opponent.
I could see them beating Carolina thanks to the defence, and it's probably the most winnable game in the coming weeks.
The Giants have played well in Cowboys Stadium. Heck, the Giants are 3-0 in the new stadium. _________________

All of which is true. But the Ravens are the only team I know with an Elite RB that often doesn't get touches. _________________

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Baltimore the only team in the NFL the cowboys have never beat? |
