Matt Ryan
Roddy White and Julio Jones
Michael Turner
and Tony Gonzalez are going to really make our pass coverage thin and vulnerable. The Redskins do not have enough experience in the secondary to actually keep up with these guys. Jim Haslett is going to have to dial up a lot of QB pressure to hurry Matt Ryan in his reads, but our LB's and DL are not getting to the QB fast enough.
Pierre Garcon gives the Redskins a good threat to move the ball through the air.
Fred Davis is going to be or should be a part of the game to take pressure off RGIII.
Hankerson has to start stepping up and producing the downfield threat. And he cannot be afraid coming over the middle. In this game, he needs to step up big.
Alfred Morris has been a bright spot for us so far but he needs to continue to do so. Atlanta has a good front 4 and a decent secondary so they are not going to allow much in the way of big plays. But Morris should be able to get some good yardage if he was able to get over 100 yards rushing against the #1 rushing defense in the league.
This has got to stop. If RGIII is going to survive a tenure in Washington, the coaches need to start dialing up plays that emphasize him as a pocket passer and not the triple option, read option etc.
Its great that he is able to give the dimension that he can rush in the red zone and pick up the yards if they are there. But getting him to be a pocket passer is going to endure his career instead of increasing the chances of hindering it.
Prediction on my part is that Atlanta is hot and we are getting lucky for the time being. Atlanta's WR's vs the Redskins secondary is going to be the key. And it should be the key to victory for Atlanta and they go 5-0.

This is the game I really had us losing first, but since we couldn't get RG3 his first home his first home game we gotta get in done the second time. I see this being a high scoring game and Rg3 leading us to victory. _________________

Im going blowout like lavar.
They have 2 fantastic receivers that our secondary cant begin to cover.

I'm probably going to jinx us, but their running game doesn't worry me too much. Our run D has been stellar this season. The falcons tight end and receivers on the other hand are whole other story. I have this one on the loss column, but that's fine since this will probably be the best team we face all year. Yesterday's win was huge since it helps us avoid a 1-4 start. 2-3 is much easier to work with than 1-4. It's still going to be a fun game to watch and I expect a lot of scoring...I'm going with:
Falcons: 38

I think we can keep it close........Our offense has proven to be pretty good!!! We can score. If we can run the ball and control, then clock we at least got a shot. |

Question, say our D gets put in the same situation as the Panther's D did, do we stop the Falcons from scoring? _________________

Just remember that defense wins championships and right now we have 7 players of a 11 man defense that are showing up.
Atlanta has Roddy White and Julio Jones. Matt Ryan has a good OL and will have time to throw the ball to these guys. We don't have a secondary to cover them all the time. If A.J. Green and Danny Amendola can torch the secondary like they did, you can bet these 3 are going to do more.
Add Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner, its a recipe for disaster. _________________

I'm going to be making the trek from Upstate NY down to Maryland for this game as well. Although I'm hoping the Skins pull off the upset solely because of the amount of time/money I've invested into this game, reality is that they're probably going to lose, but atleast it will be an great offensive game for both teams.

Really hoping Kerrigan can get 1.5 sacks to bring his total to 5 sacks in 5 games. _________________
