The defense needs help, the offense needs to get healthy.
Just who would you like Tanny to sign that's available for offense right now?
Plaxico? TO? Chad? Please. You want to talk about a joke, signing one of those would be a joke. |

We needed to add another CB, and from what I've heard Berry has some potential. He has some off the field incidents, but hopefully being cut has given him some much needed perspective on that front. We now have Cro, Wilson, Ellis, Trufant, and Berry.
I don't mind giving McKnight reps at CB still, but honestly with Holmes hurt I want to see him get some time at WR too. _________________

This kid has talent, he just needs to get his head on right.
The rest of the season is an evaluation process. I think Cromartie is a stud; sure he makes mistakes and says some ridiculous things, but he's a very good player. The Jets are in such a hole on offense that they may need to entertain the idea of trading Cromartie next offseason and roll with Revis, Wilson, and Berry at corner. Trading Cromartie would save the Jets a lot of money and could possibly net them some solid draft picks. _________________

| At least Wilson won't start anymore. If he does he'll probably give up 200 yards to the Texans. |

Not really. At WR they have Andre Johnson and a bunch of nobodies. _________________

With how well Cromartie has played and how poorly Wilson has played, I don't see that happening. I predicted before this season that a move like that would happen. However, this year has really shown the talent gap between them. We should keep Cromartie for the entirety of his contract. _________________

Do you guys really think Cro can handle a physical receiver like Johnson? 'Cause I don't and I love Cro. _________________

It sucks that Wilson is terrible at tackling, because I think he would actually make a decent safety. He just doesn't have great speed. _________________

That is only a little part of his problem. The guy got beat every time at the start. He was beat by Crabtree and he runs like a 4.6 40 yard dash. He also has the worse hip movement that I have seen in a long time. He is so slow to turn his hips to the side it makes me wonder what the jets saw in him when they drafted him in the first. |
