I like it, but I think we may go Taylor Lewan in the first and Dion Jordan in the second...fixes our OT position and moves Britton to the inside (if we re-sign him) and gives us another "low expectation" DE to rotate in.

I remember when you didn't have Lewan in your top 120. Glad your opinion of him improved.

1st Round's still good.

The only issue I have with the 2nd round is I just don't think it's a terribly realistic pick, if for no other reason than it doesn't match up with AJ Smith's M.O. He's taken one OL prior to the 3rd round in his entire tenure as a GM or AGM and that was when we went into a draft without a starter at LOT and drafted McNiell. If he bucks the trend it's very likely for another tackle, not a guard (we went into the 2009 draft needing, at worst, a guy capable of starting at guard by the mid-point of his rookie season and waited until the 3rd round to select Louis Vasquez). Otherwise, the other criteria fit for the kind of OL he'd draft (either SEC/Big XII/Big 10 guy, versatile, power-blocker).

More likely is either OLB (both Phillips and Barnes are UFA's), ILB (Butler's got one spot locked down, but Spikes is aging and will have one year left on his contract, and Mouton hasn't shown squat, not to mention the value for the position kicks in in the 2nd), or - particularly if Mathews continues with his fumble issues or misses more time for injury this season - surprisingly enough RB (Taylor or Christine Michaels are both good options).

For Seattle I would prefer:

1st Round = Kawaan Short
2nd Round = Terrance Williams

I don't think that Robert Woods will help this team out. We need somebody who is gonna be a bona-fide #1. I also like Short, and I think that he will lock down the interior pass rush (assuming that we don't bring back Jason Jones)

I don't know a lot about Williams on the field, but he has the measurables.

DT is fine in round 1 for ATL but in round 2 I'd like to get a TE or RB. Next offseason I see three main starter/rotational needs those being TE, RB, and DT. Then depth at LB and CB are the biggest needs.

As poorly as our offense has played, our pass defense is worse. I like both picks.

DE for Minnesota doesn't make a lot of sense. I know Jared is getting older but we have Everson Griffen behind him. Griffen is a player that the coaches want on the field more already.

Allen, Griffen, Robison, Reed - that is our deepest position on the roster.

OG, FS, WR, LB really anything else Laughing

lol

I think I'd rather see the Eagles take Joeckel there then Reid, OT is going to be a major need.

Headscratcher on that Vikings pick, unless they get rid of both Robison and Allen, DE isn't that big a need, they have Griffen who provides great depth and a few players stashed as depth at that position. Another S, if Raymond doesn't look like he can cut it as a starter, or DT (very likely option) or a deep threat WR all make much more sense, I could even see them going OG there to find someone to replace Charlie Johnson and move him to depth at LG and LT.

You don't think a tandem of Allen/Robison/Griffen/Jeffcoat would work in your guys favor? Laughing

All the same, I switched the pick.

DE in the second? We can't even find Vinny Curry playing time. We are too deep there.

The Jets could certainly use Curry. We'll give you Tebow for him. Wink
