Since the College Football Season is under way, here are some players I'll be keeping my eye on this year:
- CB Jonathon Banks Miss. State: Grade : Late 1st: One of my favorite prospects. Physical CB with good speed and is a very good tackler. Schiano guy. Very underrated.
- DT Jonathon Hankins Ohio State- Top 15: Stout against the run. Strong and would be that big body to eat up blockers in the Middle the Bucs have been searching for.
- DT Jesse Williams Alabma: 2nd/3rd: Another run-stuffing DT that is well coached and can eat up blockers in the run defense.
- MLB Nico Johnson Alabama:3rd- 4th round: Big and Fast MLB that attacks the ball carrier. Many question his lateral speed, but will probably out-play his current draft stock.
- TE Joseph Fauria UCLA: 3rd/4th Round: Tall Recieving threat who is a solid blocker as well. Under the radar prospect and could develop into a steal for someone.
- FS Robert Lester Alabama: 2nd/3rd: Barron's running mate. Was a ball-hawk in 2011. Very fast and very quick to react. Someone to keep an eye on.
- LB Mike Mauti Penn State: 4th-5th Rd.: Has injury history, but is a leader and has great football instincts.
- LB Jonathon Brown Illinois: 4th Round: Very talented. Could move up. Another backer that attacks and fills holes quickly.
- QB Aaron Murray Georgia: 2nd Round: Freeman will be a guy under scrutiny this year and drafting a qb could push him. Very accurate and strong arm qb. Someone I'm keeping my eye on bc he reminds me a lot of Drew Brees.
- CB Johnny Adams Michigan State: 3rd/4th: Has a strong build and very physcial CB.
- CB/S Micah Hyde Iowa: 3rd Rd: Very good intangibles and ball skills. Sound Tackler. Could be a S option as well.
- G Travis Frederick Wisconsin: 2nd/3rd: Very underrated Mauler from Wisconsin. Position to keep an eye on with Joseph's Injury.
- T Rick Wagner Wisconsin: 2nd/3rd Round: Trueblood probably won't be back. Dotson could be a long-term solution, but this could be a hole next off-season.
I know it's early, but I love College and NFL. Evaluating all aspects of the game is very intriguing and these are prospects that have caught my eye. |

I'd gladly take anybody on Alabama's offensive line. |

Geno is my favorite QB. But lets not act like he has faced a defense. _________________ Adopt-A-Buc Mason Foster

Watch last years game against LSU and tell me 430 yards and 2 TDs wasn't the best QB performance all year against that Defense? Ehh? |

Plus, watching every game of Geno's this year, he's made all the throws necessary to become an NFL Signal Caller, and a darn good one, if you ask me. The way he manoovers the pocket, is just smooth and then fires the ball so accurately. He's just too good. Sucks he'll probably be the top pick. |

He had the ball the whole game. You get numbers like that when you are playing catch up. _________________ Adopt-A-Buc Mason Foster

It doesn't matter if he played a Big-12 defense, 8TDs is ridiculous. I want him to be our QB too, but he'll probably be the #1 pick, and I don't think we'll be that bad. _________________

Thank you and yes unfortanetly we most likely won't have a shot at him.
But people look at the Defenses. It's not that. He runs that offesne and it's just that good and dynamic.
His Mechanics are excellent as well. Goes through his progressions. Rapid quick release, strong arm and excellent pocket presence. On some of those deep balls, he was so smooth in the pocket, just side stepping and throws a dart for 45 yards to Austin. That was beautiful. |

I think the full stat line was 45-51 636yds. and 8TDs. Toss in his running ability and I don't see how he isn't the #1 pick. I would trade every pick in the draft for Geno, but I don't see the FO doing that. _________________

Eifert is a monster. I haven't seen too much of Ertz. _________________

This. I don't care if he can't block. I want a monstrous dude that's too big for DBs to cover and who's too athletic for LBs to cover. |
