Here is an updated list with all updated stats. I have dropped a few more players. The most even DEs drafted from what I can tell was 30 and that is counting 34 DEs. I'm looking to narrow my list down to 30 before the draft. I don't want to do it too soon but at the same time I don't want to waste my time watching guys who obviously don't have NFL talent.
1. #99 Sam Montgomery DE LSU 6'5 260 Jr. 1st 5 Games 6.0 TFL 2.0 Sacks 1 SAF

Who to watch for week 6(Bold are games I will watch start to finish if another game is on at the same time I'm only checking during breaks)
Thursday
7:30 ESPNU Florida International #97 Tourek Williams
9:00 ESPN USC & Utah #96 Wes Horton, #42 Devon Kennard #99 Joe Kruger
Saturday
12:00 FX Kansas State #55 Adam Davis & #42 Meshak Williams
12:00 ESPNU Connecticut #48 Trevado Williams
-Picked this game because Williams is supposed freak athlete and great quickness of snap
12:00 ESPN2 Auburn #55 Corey Lemonier
12:00 BTN Michigan State #2 William Gholston
3:30 CBS LSU #49 Barkevious Mingo, #99 Sam Montgomery and #89 Lavar Edwards
-Picked because Montgomery is top rated DE and want to see Mingo flash
3:30 ESPN Clemson #97 Malliciah Goodman
3:30 ESPN2 Oklahoma #11 R.J. Washington
3:30 ABC Illinois #99 Michael Buchanan
7:00 ESPN Georgia #83 Cornellius Washington
7:00 Fox Texas #44 Jackson Jeffcoat and #80 Alex Okafor
7:00 ESPNU Texas A&M #94 Damontre Moore
-Picking this one because I have seen alot of the Texas duo already. Moore is putting up monter numbers and I want to see more.
8:00 ESPN2 Florida State #91 Tank Carradine & #95 Bjoern Werner
-Taking this one bc I don't feel like Meredith or Simon are NFL talents and Williams is a major injury risk. I'm also not much of and OSU nut like everyone else in Ohio. Sadly I am 100% a Browns man.
8:00 ABC Nebraska & OSU #34 Cameron Meredith, #43 Nathan Williams and #54 John Simon
10:30 ESPN Oregon #96 Dion Jordan
-IMO Jordan has the highest upside in the draft(of DEs) and its the only game on this late. _________________

Hmmm
Who is this fella? |
I've posted about him several times in prospects to watch threads. He has been converted to rush linebacker in a 34 this year from where he was as a 43 DE and has exploded. Looks to be a decent athlete but nothing off the charts. Also I don't know why he wasn't putting up the numbers as a 43 DE if he just doesn't fit or was a late bloomer. _________________

Thank you as always. I've been watching Notre Dame a lot and a underclassmen to watch that has really caught my eye is Stephen Tuitt of Notre Dame _________________

Yeah I tape all there games. I am a huge Brian Kelly fan. I don't know if you remember the year I really like Connor Barwin and everyone kept calling me a Cincinnati homer I kept having to explain I'm just a Brian Kelly fan? Anyway I watch all his teams games every year. When he was at Grand Valley State I talked to him about working for him but now he is too big time for my liking.
I really like Stephon Tuitt as well just not for the Browns. He's not eligible this year for one and I think he'd be a 5 tech in the NFL sort of like what he does now. _________________

I agree with everything you just said about Tuitt. The only possible way he could work for us would be if we used him like Red Bryant.
I'm sorry you got blasted for your opinnion. At least you get the last laugh at the end of the day. _________________

2. Bjoern Werner
3. Jackson Jeffcoat
4. Sam Montgomery

I am kinda of hesitant on drafting a 34 player for the 43 D.
That and Heckarts and Jaurons method/priority for the D is DL 1st DB's 2nd and LB's last.
IE see young UDFA's LB's playing well in this system.
If the Browns go back to a 34 for some reason he is my #1 player. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!
