Just off the top of my head here are some prospects that would be on my board. (In no particular order)
~ Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
~ JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
~ Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
~ Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
~ Reggie Bush, RB, USC
~ Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
~ Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin

Maybe not JaMarcus (I think he had more than his fair share of detractors), but you would think there would be a few more hard core busts on the list. Guys like Jamal Reynolds, Ryan Leaf, even David Carr/Joey Harrington.
In all fairness, the OP is trying to pull together almost 15 years of NFL draft so a bit of revisionist history is forgivable. You tend to remember the players who turned out.

Andrew Luck
Peyton Manning
Ryan Leaf
Calvin Johnson
JaMarcus Russell
Drew Bledsoe
Michael Vick
Charles Rogers
David Carr
RG3

Since I have been following the draft closely, my top guys were probably
Jake Long, Andrew Luck, Reggie Bush, Calvin Johnson, Glen Dorsey and Suh

Actually I have been keeping a list for some time now. I believe 2002. Also I have my fair share of bust such as Gallery, Leaf, Cadillac, Ricky Williams, Charles Rodgers ect. I just never liked JaMarcus Russell and I honesly don't get how someone can say anyone is lying about that bc that wasn't that long ago and I don't remember him being a great prospect. He was a questionable leader with questionable character. If you're talking shear size and physical ability then yeah, but as a prospect Russell was never that highly thought of around here.
