Sorry I thought this was a forum we could ask questions related to the Bucs. |

Yes, I thought so too. That's how things have been done in the past. |

| @NFLSTROUD: Schiano says Da'Quan Bowers is improving and says he will come back this season, but they're not going to rush him. |

They need to let him miss the season. Achillies injuries are something you don't mess around with especially with dlineman/pass rushers. See Shawn Merriman. He's never been the same since he tore his Achilles. |

Or since he did steroids. Correlation =/= causation. _________________

He didn't tear his Achilles, he tore his heel bone off his leg which was very close to the Achilles. There's no way Bowers is pondering the thought of playing if he tore his Achilles as first reported. |

So did Cushing and he was still a beast after he got caught. |

http://m.nfl.com/blogs/2012/09/26/how-the-tampa-bay-bucs-expect-a-tradestyle-acquisition-on-the-defensive-line-soon/
| Quote: | The ex-Clemson star, whose stock slipped from being a first-rounder to being a second-rounder because of concerns about his knee last draft, tore his Achilles in May. The Bucs put him on the Physically Unable to Perform list, just on the possibility that he could return. And, I’m told, rehab is going extremely well. So well, in fact, that the Bucs are expecting he’ll be back in 2012.
Instead of tearing the Achilles and having it completely explode off the bone like often happens, I’m told Bowers’ simply tore off the heel bone. That has quickened rehab dramatically. Bowers is working like crazy to return, and he told reporters that he’ll do what the team asks in terms of being activated.
“It’s up to coach (Greg) Schiano and (GM) Mark Dominik at the end of the day,“ Bowers told reporters, including the Tampa Bay Times. ”We’ll see what they decide, and if they think they can put me in. If they feel like they want to save me, I’m fine with that either way.”

If Bowers can give us anything this season it would be huge. _________________

If his injury isn't as bad as first reported then I wouldn't mind seeing him this year. But only if he's absolutely 100% healthy. _________________
