Really? Isn't there something of which to be proud in almost beating one of the best teams in the NFL, and on their home field?
Heroic effort by the Saints today, and reason for hope! |

Keep your chins up Saints fans.....You lost a game today you probably should have had won.....I know a close finish is no consolation, but as long as you have Brees, things have to get better......When Peyton comes back next year, the old magic will come back.....Good Luck the rest of the season.... |

I can't even be angry anymore, i frankly think this is funny is a sick kind of way.
Time after time, our linemen were stuffed. The 4 man rush... We aren't the Giants, we don't have Tuck, Strahan, and co. like Spags did in New York. Until he realizes that, we are going to continue to get demolished by football teams.
Positive Takeaways:
1. Brees. Looked. Fantastic. He did everything he could within his power to win us that football game. He was TORCHING the secondary.
2. Joe Morgan could POTENTIALLY be our next deep threat receiver. I mean, if Brees would have hit him in stride, there would've been absolutely nobody contesting Morgan's way into the endzone.
3. We FINALLY got a takeaway. What a play by Robinson. I mean, good freaking god, i thought it was initially going to be a touchdown, because Nelson had him beat. But the recovery, and then the SNAG, was just fantastic.
4. HEY, THERE'S OUR OFFENSIVE LINE! For the most part, they kept the Green Bay defensive line in check. There was one miscommunication, and one just pure misplay, but other than that, they looked pretty good... in passing situations.
5. Also, HEY, THERE'S OUR SAFETIES! I lost count of the number of times they were flying downfield, like missiles. It was a refreshing change.
Negative Takeaways:
I'll try not to be TOO harsh.
1. Like i aforementioned, this 4 man rush is NOT FREAKING WORKING. We either got stood up, or came within inches of getting Rodgers. THAT'S. NOT. GOOD. ENOUGH.
2. Our receivers are ridiculously inconsistent. Sometimes they're open, sometimes they aren't. Sometimes they catch the ball, sometimes they don't (LOOKING AT YOU, DARREN).
3. We have no run defense.
4. Our secondary can cover for an absolute maximum of 3 seconds.
5. I knew there was a reason we were keeping Kasay around.... COME ON HARTLEY.
6. Way too many penalties.
7. And, by far the biggest, the regular refs are just as bad as the replacements. Honestly, i'm sorry, Packers' fans. The refs must hate your football team. It's almost like they were rubbing Goodell's face in it... _________________

The roller coaster ride of being in so many close games is hard on my poor heart. _________________

I agree and thanks for saying something.....That fumble call was a travesty and could have easily cost us another game......The officiating this year has been an absolute joke.... |

tell us about it... its been a brutal year regardless of who's wearing the zebra uni's
at some point we might catch a break... maybe... probably not
i honestly never realized how important coaching is... losing a legit HC & DC has crushed your team
NFL refs making an example out of the packers for some odd reason... NFL making an example out of the saints (for something i think happens all over the league)... welcome to 2012 where the football gods feel the need to punish 2 of the last 3 Superbowl winning teams

Yeah, I know what you mean by that. But I thought that today's effort showed that the Saints still have a lot of good players, and once they get past the Bountygate mess, they can win a lot of football games.
Maybe even a few blow-outs to make it up to their loyal fans! |

We gave Brees all day too. He repeatedly killed us with our very inexperienced secondary. |

We were gifted the ball, yes. Good lord, I haven't seen a more lucky play in a long time. Unlucky for the Packers, lucky for us, but I'll take it.
Heads up by Jenkins to recover the fumble. |
We do feel snake bitten by the refs this year - both the Rent-a-Refs and the regular ones. |

Yes, good luck the rest of the way guys. I was certain we were gonna lose but somehow Jones grabbed that last pass. I still have no clue how he got it cuz that wasn't the best throw Rodgers ever threw. As 40 year Pack Fan said, once you get your HC back you'll be a terror for the rest of the league yet again. |

We made up for the turnovers today with dropped passes. Unacceptable. _________________

My heart skipped a beat more than once that game. Honestly it should have never been that close. The football God's owed us a break and we finally got one on the missed FG, but we still got shafted on 2 huge calls. This year might be a hard one to swallow for you guys but with possibly high draft picks and a top 3 HC returning and a full year under Spags for the defense to get in sync you guys will be a hard team to deal with next year. Good luck the rest of the way! _________________
