I just loved when we ran the big nickel against the Jets. I don't understand with Harrison out why we don't run this more. I would have in ...
Ike, Troy, Clark, Lewis or Allen
Timmons, Foote, Worilds
Heyward, Mclendon, Hood, Woodley
I would put Kiesel and Sly in on passing downs |

I think we all probably are on the same page, really... However my concern would be with the change, our line may make many offsides... Maybe not, but you guys saw how our O-line were in first 3 games, decent blocking but my goodness, the penalties!
Also while I love the idea of hybri of 4-3/3-4 defense I just don't think we have any personnels to play 3-4 anymore... Woodley, he's an above-average OLB, Harrison is the only elite 3-4 player left.
Hopefully we could start seeing some 4-3 this season and go through a transform eventually. |

Timmons- would be better in 4-3
Heyward- would get on the field
Woodley- goes back to natural position
Spence- pick makes more sense
To me right now we look like a 4-3 team trying to play 3-4. |

you make all the right points. For me, without 92 out there, this team is lost. I could see a 4-3 working well on the DL, just not sure of the LB's especially since spence might not play again or play at the same speed. What a serious injury he had.
This team might rely on beating weak teams and then possibly scraping by vs middle of the pack teams and then still lose to good teams. Such an approach gets a respectable record, but it is only part of the story.
With 4-3 talent here and the OL still a weakness and lacking depth, I still want the OL to be addressed. D can wait one more year before getting high draft picks unless a player falls like DD did. 4-3 makes the most sense with the personnel (unless 92 comes back in old form). 1 gap 3-4 also makes sense, but OL should get a high pick next year as well and this is IF starks and Foster are back. What if colon is released and both starks and foster are gone? Adams outplayed jj watt in college, but it means nothing if Adams is on the bench now . We probably won't lose as many players on D after this season but wait and see |

Sorry man, I should've had my 5th one be Defense run by KJ!
Btw, I like the split us fans have on this. Really close so far.
