Browner played pretty good in this game. He is going to give up completions, but he was pretty solid. The stop on Jordy Nelson early on and the 2-point attempt exemplify it.

Amazing I started watching at the same time!
Irvin's 2 sacks were so beast. Speed+power. I think he is going to keep improving and be very special.
Here were my thoughts of the 1st quarter:
-2 false starts were brutal for different reasons. Okung is just being undisciplined. I watched McCoy's false start, and I can't say I agree with it. He didn't move. He may not have been set, but I think he was. The way the play was set up, It looked similar to the TD pass. P/A pass guys getting open down field. That sucked.
-Obamanu isn't a great route runner. We've targeted him a few times this year and hasn't been able to get open. A key 3rd down was deflected on a ball that RW threw well.
-Play calling was much better than the rest of the game. He was calling passes on 1st down, and we were moving the ball. Imagine that.

I think that Obo ran good routes. He was just covered brilliantly on that 3rd down pass. Nobody could have caught that ball. It was like when Richard Sherman was covering Jermichael Finley on the slant play.

Perhaps his routes are fine, but maybe he doesn't get out of his breaks quick enough....He hasn't been open on 4 attempts this year.

I haven't paid much attention to him on the other games. It could even come down to the offensive design. Russell Wilson isn't exactly hitting the right targets consistently.
