I agree, he shouldn't be starting though. _________________

Dembele is class. I would go as far as to say he is the 2nd best ball carrying CM in the Premiership (Yaya Toure being the best). _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

I would agree. He is Pirlo esk the way he controls the ball. You just can't take it from him. I knew this last year from watching him at Fulham so I expected it, but tis a very nice thing to have. I mean it's not like Modric gave the ball away much but still it's cool knowing you have a guy you can always count on to do that right thing in your midfield. _________________

Yeah, I'm delighted with Demebele. I knew he would be a huge hit at a bigger club but he will turn into a world class player. The fee we payed for him will look like a bargain when all is said and done. He has pretty much everything you want from a CM. Pace, finishing, dribbling, passing, physicality, great player. _________________

Finally, our first win. And Lennon and Bale also finally started their season. I think we'll see the results we have become more used to. _________________

Still think its too early in the season, but what are you guys (specifically Tottenham) feeling on AVB and how he's ran the team. _________________

I don't think he plays anything like Pirlo. Both are great but have two different approaches to the game. Pirlo can sit back and links the defense with his extraordinary passing and accuracy, Dembele does not have near the range that Pirlo has. What he does have is pace and is a fantastic dribbler and movement. He might not have the passing range or accuracy of Pirlo but he is able to travel with the ball into dangerous areas and make crisp short passes.
Frankly the only similarity between Pirlo and Dembele is that they are very good central mids, they approach the game two different ways. Dembele is similar to Modric although Modric has better better range. |

I didn't watch the game lay night as it's on at like 2.30am, but from what I have read we were really unlucky not to win. A draw against a team like lazio who are currently flying isn't a bad result though. The game against QPR on Sunday is far more important anyway. _________________

You had 2 legit goals ruled out incorrectly. Unlucky doesn't begin to describe it. _________________

Not sure if Dempsey was onsides. On FSC they only showed one replay at an angle behind Dempsey so it was pretty tough to line him up with the defender. Either way, Tottenham was the better team and should've won |

Come on you Spurs!!!!!!!!!
I didn't ever think I would see that day that spurs beat united at old Trafford! Three on the bounce and we are looking strong. I'm absolutely delighted with VErtonghen and Dembele. They were both inspired signings. I _________________

So AVB has his squad settled and he's got his first 11 down and look what happens. Very nice run so far and we are playing some very nice football. Got myself a ticket to the Wigan game as well _________________
