We're also giving up on Ingram too quickly. He'll have 1 bad run and they just give up on him for that game. He's like a Reggie Bush, he needs time to get in a grove, not 1 run on 3rd and short, 15 minutes later a run on 1st and goal, 20 minutes later a run on 4th and 1. |
Agreed. I'd love to see us run the ball 30-35 times, what do we have to lose at this point? Lets see how Ingram and Pierre do with significant carries _________________

I really hope you guys win this game.
I really can't stand Greenbay, and I think you guys will be looking to rebound big this week.
I think Drew goes for over 500 this week. _________________

| It's going to be hard to give Ingram the luxury of touching the ball that often just to settle him in, when PT and Sproles can make plays from their first touch. If they do it they need to do it early and often before we fall behind in the game |

I'd play Ivory and rest Ingram. No that's not giving up on Ingram, but Ivory could use some playing time.
While it does seem apparent that Ingram gets not push from the O-line, I don't think we can sorely blame the O-line. We currently have the 1st and 4th best rated G's in the NFL(Grubbs and Evans), so maybe some fault lies with Ingram.
I'd try Ivory and see what we can do.
Joe Morgan too needs to hold his balls better. _________________

Remember the backup refs did let the defense get a little more chippy than the real refs do. I think that is a huge part for the Saints, Packers, (Patriots,e ct) playing poorly so far. It's like they were playing in the old NFL again instead of the mid-2000s on.
EX:
I think both offenses will pick it up this week. I doubt this game is the blow out everyone expects. That being said I find it hard to believe Rodgers would let his team slip to 1-3 or that Brees would let his team slip to 0-4. I guess we will find out in 24 hours..
Good luck with the game guys. Hoping for the least amount of injuries. _________________

We also have two matadors for OTs. I don't care if we have the best interior line in the NFL, which we do, it is not that hard to stop this offenses stretch style plays, leading to an easier ability to just stick guys in the middle. They can do that, knowing they can still blow up the play, even if it is to the outside, because our tackles suck. _________________

I'm reading all these posts about how you guys are sure you'll get blown out. I wish I was that sure . I just can't predict a sure win against a team with Drew Brees. That being said, I do think we come out with the win.

Shanle made a play OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, get the guns, grab the money, gather the kids, we're leaving, the world is ending.
Then he allowed a TD thrown directly over his head.
Whew. Thought we were in real trouble there. _________________

Harper looks even more awful... First game I can watch completly and after 5 minutes it already looks awful. Really had some hope after the first three and out! |

I don't even know how to discuss this game because I have a feeling I'll just break down in tears. _________________

If GB's defense has a good day, what does it mean?
I know you're not playing up to expectations this year. Would it still be impressive? _________________
