As bad as our tackles may be, we need a ton of LB help. _________________

WHile Ricky Wagner is an exceptional run blocker he struggles mightily in pass blocking. Polar opposites almost, very concerning, may be fixable but is a big red flag for any kind of first round pick.
To this point I see Collins as lucky to be a 5th rounder and appears to be more of a 4-3 WLB. _________________

While I do think we need another OT in the next draft the first round seems a bit high. Starks may not be back but Adams and Gilbert can start at OT so we just need a backup. In an emergency Colon, Foster, and Beachum can play at RT so whoever we draft has to be an LT.
I like S Lamarcus Joyner, he's a bit undersized, not quite 5' 8", but he can play and he's also a return specialist.
Love OLB/ILB Jamie Collins, 6' 4", 239 lbs, 4.59, 98 tackles, 19.5 TFL, 6.5 sacks, 8 PBU, 1 int, playing DE now but I think he's going to go higher than the 3rd round by the time the combine is finished if his measurables and speed are as advertised. He was an ILB but moved up to DE where he'll have a year to prove how good of a pass rusher he is.
I also really like RB Kenjon Barner, especially in the 4th because I think he'll go a round higher, just not sure it's a need unless we don't extend Mendy. |

I like Collins. I would prefer Xavier Rhodes. How do you feel about Desmond Johnson RB Southern Miss? _________________

I can all but guarantee that OLB will be a very high pick for the Steelers. _________________

Carter needs to somehow make a worthwhile play, haven't seen him make even one single play yet, very disappointing _________________

Joyner reminds me of former FSU cornerback Tony Carter whos now with the JETS, both are undersize but great tacklers with great quickness & speed. Collins began his career at FS, then moved to OLB, and the last 2 seasons at DE, still a bit raw but a wonderful talent to work with. |

You would just leave Gilbert at RT, hopefully Adams at LT with Starks as a swing. Decastro, Colon, and Foster could be your tackles. This is a new line and it will take some time to mess.
Safety and Linebacker at this point are our biggest needs. |
