We may see some changes on the D-line this week according to a BR(I know, I know) article.

I'd like to see:

Jordan-Hicks-Bunkley-Galette.

Galette can rush the passer fairly well, and it's something we desperately need. He got 2 sacks last week, and I think he's earned some more snaps.

Ellis has not been getting it done, time to give Hicks more PT.

It would be awesome if it worked and we could dump Smith and Ellis for a few late round picks

WHERE IS MARTEZ WILSON? I bought his jersey, and he hasn't seen the field. Evil or Very Mad

Bold Predictions
Akiem Hicks has a huge game, takes the starting job from Sedrick Ellis.
Drew Brees throws for 4 TDs
The Saints defense ONLY allows 4 TDs
The Saints get their first win of the season

Yes he has on special teams.

Going into Green Bay while they're seeking revenge for that terrible MNF game...?

Prediction: Saints 17 - Packers 38

In terms of D, I think we might be best served playing 4-2 and going into nickle somewhat permanently this game.

Play Jordan-Hicks-Bunkley-Galette, with Hawthorne-Lofton on most downs, and play in mostly a nickle situations.

Play Patrick as NB, and have Greer, Robinson, Harper, Jenkins and Patrick out on the field most of the time.

Hawthorne out, Wilson in on passing downs. I want to see that man blitz like crazy.

Saints win.

Every year the Saints suck they'll win a game they have no business winning, and a game nobody gives them a shot to win. This game will be that game.

Im starting to think Im the only one with some faith left around here.
glad Harper41 and SWATcha think so. Yes that KC game was like watching a cat being strangled. But thats growing pains for you. Honestly I have my wifes husband and brother going to this game. And they say the will give me a call when the packers win. As a Saints fan I do not like feeling my team is not even being considered. But I would want It that way with Brees and co. coming to Lam. Cool

Elliot Harrison is predicting a 43-26 win for GB. Lol even the analysts are tired of picking the Saints.
That being said, i'm not wearing the Wilson jersey this week, i'm breaking out the Brees. Hopefully that brings us like some sort of voodoo magic. At least enough to be Green Bay.

This game should be fun now that we have the regular officials back. Maybe now both of our offenses can get back on track. I will say it could be a daunting task for your guys to come into Lambeau after last Monday's debacle. Our guys hopefully will be more than ready to atone for that loss and the fans will be going bonkers I'm sure. It appears your defense is having a lot more issues than you did last year and our D is playing better than last year and I think this will be the difference in the game. It will be a close one but I feel we'll win unless we are still feeling sorry for ourselves and come out flat.

Yikes! Fixed now. Laughing

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/nfl/story/2012/09/27/brees-speaks-saints-listen/57849540/1

Quote:
rees is frustrated. Frustrated with the team's 0-3 start. Frustrated with Commissioner Roger Goodell's ruling in the Bountygate case that has taken away his head coach for this season and interim coach Joe Vitt for the first six weeks. Frustrated with the negativity surrounding a team and a city that had enjoyed four playoff appearances and a Super Bowl title in the previous six years.

For Brees, the urgency is high. Which is why he felt the need to speak up.

Several Saints players told USA TODAY Sports that Brees stood up in front of the offense and delivered a rare, passionate speech in a meeting Wednesday to send a clear message there's no longer a margin for complacency and excuse-making, especially with the Green Bay Packers and a potential 0-4 record awaiting them Sunday in Lambeau field.
