That is correct. A late pick is ignored and is treated as a "no pick". The winning and losing teams are still available to the contestant for future picks.

ugh, I'm so confused. 
I have 2 red strikes on me. One against the Vikings week 2, and another because I didn't have my pick in. I could've swore I missed another though?
I need to make 2 picks now?

You have two strikes (Vikings in Week 2 and a "no pick" in Week 3).
You need to make two picks this week.
