Bill Belichick was fined $50,000 for "impermissible physical contact" with an official, the league just ruled |

Did anyone actually think he was going to be suspended? I might have given up on football if he did. _________________

Its hilarious some of the reactions on espn.com in the comments section of this story. From the outrage of so many you'd think he was responsible for the deaths of thousands. Are people really upset that its "only" $50,000 and that he wasn't suspended??? Or was their fury for him clouding their common sense? _________________

I wish he would have been suspended. Not just cause Pats are a division rival but I feel the league should have made an example of him. No one should touch a ref for whatever reaon IMO. _________________

Man, being a Bills fan must really do a number on a person's mind... | I just feel if it was any other coach that the punishment would be much worse. Look at Sean Payton. He got suspended for something Gregg Williams did. It was out of his control. Bill put his hands on an official and his punishment is a lot less significant. I would just like to see the NFL be alot more consistant with their punishments. _________________

He touched a replacement ref, he should pay in replacement money. _________________ Adopt-a-Patriot '14: Danny Amendola Status: Allegedly Deflating Balls On The Sideline |
